There's not, but wouldn't it be a positive when considering MVP? The ability to carry a depleted team is usually a big plus in the media, no?

No doubt if it's for a prolonged period. However this early on it will certainly pad the stats, given the data range is small compared to what it will be.

What's the most games an MVP winner has missed during their title year?

plus consideration needs to be taken into who they played, conference, game(s) played just beforehand (ie road trip) and intangibles like crowd factor/influence.

well its gonna be hard following up from yesterdays grudge match. but today the rest of the league gets to bask in the limelight.

the lakers look to stop their horrible slide into the lottery with a game against the kings. it will be a tough game for the lakers considering the history between the storied franchises. also if things couldnt get worse gasol may sit out....
