On Broughton. Didn't he have back issues last year too at some point? Just seems to ring a bell. Hope it's not an ongoing problem (as backs can be, I should know has impacted me since my mid 20s).

Yeh I remember early in the 1st quarter Broughton made a massive spud like attempt to catch a handball from Barlow and lacked agility to turn around and pick it up in time. Back problems is very plausable.

They are bringing over a reasonable midfield; Ward, Scully, Palmer, Power, Hoskin-Elliot, Treolar, Greene, Bugg...

Fair bit of depth in the midfield. They are lacking talls but that always seems to matter less at Subiaco.

I can definitely remember him having back problems last year. Really hope he's back in the backline soon. He was 3rd place in our Best and Fairest last year. Massively underrated footballer.

Absolutely everyone will be shitting themselves everytime Rhys goes anywhere near Barlow.

Won't boo him - things could have turned out very different - a few very unfortunate events and also Harves treatment. Don't think Rhys will be the player he could have, unfortunately.

I don't think Palmer will play. That was a decent whack to the head he copped last week and was lucky to get away with just concussion. If I remember rightly he played in Tassie when we rested half our team so if he does play he will know what to expect.

Ward is a very good player. Apart from him they are either too old or too young. Or too full from the money they stuffed down their throats.

Greene has averaged 27 odd touches a game since he's come into the team and Bugg has shown a bit,Ward is a good player,Sculley not so good,Palmer a battler and Power has been playing loose man in defence and been racking them up........I think we got them covered though

Hmm... still no Lower, Dawson and Mellington. Thought we might have seen at least one of the two. Does anyone know if Mellington has made a return to the WAFL yet? He could have replaced Braddles. Does Broughton really have a 'back' problem or was he just... dropped.

Pretty sure Mellington played WAFL last week.
100% believe Broughton has a back problem.
I remember him trying to pick up ball under little pressure, failed to bend down low enough and it hit his legs and spilt away.
At the time i was like WTF was that piss weak lazy effort, now it makes sense.
