Raiders about to hit the casino tables to try and double draft picks. trading for Sherman and the rights for Lynch wont be easy.

Lynch we won't put up too much of a fight. Sherman on the other hand will have to be something ridiculous for him to leave.

I think i saw something about Lynch having a talk about going to the Pats if the Raiders cant work out a deal. so that could push his price up.

Even if Lynch does return he will take a pay cut after being traded. i think it will be like a 4th round for him. Sherman will be hard because you will want something good for him and then whoever gets him will have to take his contract.
Which is $13M the next 2 years with both have $11M guaranteed. And is still the 4th highest CB contract.
But i think if a team trades for him and loses a first and conditional pick they will still win If he can be the lock down CB that got him the contract.

Depending on the team needs this years first round is easier to trade than most years with the depth at DE, DB and can still get some good LB's on day 2.

Teams will get first round tallent late in the 2nd because of teams reaching to fill holes at QB or WR

Sherman for the price that will be asked. No thanks.

And Lynch, would be good, but would not really be coughing up much for him. Seahawks dont want him at his price, so need to offload anyway. Possibly some mutually okay deal may happen. Late picks or swaps just to keep it all friendly.

Would you take Sherm at the Packers? Completely changes the defense if so

Of course I would. He's a top shutdown corner and especially with how bad our CBs were last year it would allow us to slide coverage across to whoever was struggling.
But not at the price that will be asked or his contract.

No, not at that cost.

If he would take a huge pay cut and it didnt cost us a first round pick and more picks next year.
I dont think he could solve our issues on D and would need to have us change all of our coverage maps. He wouldnt be that easy to plug into the system.

and he is out of contract after the 2018 season. we have players like Adams, HaHa and Burnett out next season. Cobb, Nelson, Montgomery, Randall, Rollins and Brice out after the 2018 season.

When looking at bring in big cost players you need to look at who needs a new contract in the next few years. and Packers dont do big deals like that for huge money.

If we could get him for nothing like a day 3 draft pick and he would take half the money it would be something to think about, but not automatic because of the issues it would cause with how we play D.

Our D wont be as bad this year, Our D wasnt as bad as most think it was last season when you look at the coaches film and we got good game reps into players. Randall will rebound again and new players we drafted will help with how deep it is on D this year.

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Marshawn Lynch "has begun" the "reinstatement process."

It is not clear what beginning the process means, but Lynch is likely to file his reinstatement papers in the near future. Once he does, his $9 million cap hit will immediately hit the Seahawks' books, making it likely a resolution is reached in short order. Werder reports Lynch hopes to play for the Raiders but also would considering going to any team which trades for CB Richard Sherman.

DT Jon Hankins to the colts on a 3 year deal.

Helps a big need for the colts.
It was puzzling that he took so long to be snapped up

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports NFL Senior VP of Officiating Dean Blandino has left his post and will take a job with a television network.

Blandino is taking a job similar to FOX's Mike Pereira. It's a huge shakeup in the NFL league office, and one that has apparently been rumored since the end of last season. Working in TV will be far less stressful for Blandino than trying to decipher the NFL rulebook. This is such a big deal because replays are going to start going through headquarters in New York City this season.

Free agent WR Roddy White retired from the NFL after 11 seasons.

White was out of the league last season after getting cut by the Falcons in March of 2016. Like most aging players, White faded late in his career, but he'll still go down as one of the better receivers of the last 15 years. In his prime, White recorded six straight 1,000-yard seasons, earning four Pro Bowl nods during that span. He'll retire as Atlanta's all-time leader in catches (808), receiving yards (10,863) and receiving touchdowns (63). All of those records will eventually be broken by Julio Jones.

Sports Illustrated's Michael Silver reports the Raiders have reached a deal with Marshawn Lynch.

The Seahawks still hold Lynch's rights, so in order to join the Raiders, Seattle and Oakland will need to work out a trade. It may take a few days for the sides to agree on compensation, but Lynch to the Raiders is happening. The 30-year-old should slide in as the lead back for his hometown Raiders, but it's fair to wonder how effective he'll be after a year away from football. Lynch was tremendous in 2014 but struggled with injuries and was outplayed by rookie Thomas Rawls in 2015. Beast Mode makes for a high-risk, high-reward fantasy option.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders have yet to reach a deal with Marshawn Lynch.

It's an update on an earlier report. PFT's Mike Florio says the sides are "not even close." The Raiders are in the process of working out terms in Lynch's contract. Seattle will get compensation for Lynch once a deal is reached.

The amount of small children that are run over in driveways is staggering.
The big truck things Americans love dont help. Hard to see what is small children, toys or pets in a driveway

the Collision detection, reversing cams and blindspot sensors in new cars help. but if it was something like the hand break failed or something you cant help that.

Could make the argument that big trucks help people not in the car see the child better due to its high ground clearance.

It happens in Australia so its not just a big vehicle thing.

Most of the time it is human error.
