Where is he likely to go (Draft position wise)? This is ****ing huge
Davo-27 has him at #4Where is he likely to go (Draft position wise)?
Davo-27 has him at #4
Moraes did not qualify under the rules. Hawthorn knew that pretty early and so did MoraesYou would think after we copped the Moraes call
Getting in early on Greeves is better management
A top 3 prospectWhere is he likely to go (Draft position wise)?
They decide according to the rules and if he does have indigenous descent then there is nothing stopping him being part of our NGA similar to the beast as he will be playing for eastern this yearAside from the words 'the AFL will decide'
Dreaming I reckon.
This would be absolutely huge. Watch the AFL say no.
It will be a "vibe" decision. We can't have good teams getting top end talent for nothing. They decide according to the rules and if he does have indigenous decent then there is nothing stopping him being part of our NGA similar to the beast as he will be playing for eastern this year
Absolutely no chance they sign it off. None.
Any blood is enough blood. It is according to the government isn't it?We will be the bridge too far for this policy. The rort that cannot be tolerated.
If I were him (and I really wanted to get to Hawthorn, and who wouldn’t?), I would file a complaint with the AFLPA or whatever organisation represents draftees. It’s not just Hawthorn getting screwed by a rejection, but him as well. How can the AFL possibly have the audacity to claim they can determine that he doesn’t have enough aboriginal blood in his veins to qualify for an NGA?
Top 5If the draft was now where would Ollie Greeves be picked
Is that all? We just find an indigenous kid, say he's ours and then ask the afl for sign off?AFL will need to do some mental gymnastics to deny this one. Rules for Indigenous heritage would qualify him.
Would be fair play for Collingwood Geelong or Essendon to get him thoWe will be the bridge too far for this policy. The rort that cannot be tolerated.

Some have him top 5.If the draft was now where would Ollie Greeves be picked
Oh wow.. Well I hope the afl ticks it offTop 5
Exactly the same as Cody Anderson.AFL will need to do some mental gymnastics to deny this one. Rules for Indigenous heritage would qualify him.
Was he one of the boys training at the club during pre season?Top 5
So the only reason for refusing it, would be a "vibe" decision.Exactly the same as Cody Anderson.
