But that really isn't an omen... You've divided the total by 2 and added a 1 from nowhere. Or am I missing a joke here?

Yeah but it's still plucked out of nowhere. If we don't win then we're still on 15, the extra one doesn't get added on and the "omen" makes more sense. If the sum of the numbers equalled 16 without any extra fluff I'd be impressed. Not a fan of this omen. It just feels more like an omen against us that we're trying to manipulate into an omen for us.

I am a fan of the fact that the last two premiers knocked GWS out in the semifinals. Richmond finished 13th in 2016, we finished 13th in 2017. The Freo one someone posted before that said the past 3 premiers beat them in the last round of the home and away season. Actually, nearly every other omen in this thread has impressed me in some way.

Although not really an omen, I liked that one of the SEN hosts compared us to Geelong of 2006 early last year. They thought it could click for us the following year like it did with Geelong (I think they lost faith in us throughout last year and went off that but I was still holding out hope).

On a side note my status on my link account at work has been set to "Pies Premiers 2018" since the start of the season. I only set it to that to wind up a Tigers supporter I work with who's had his set to "Tigers Premiers 2017" all year. It's still set to it and I most likely won't get a chance to change it for a few weeks so I hope we win or I'll look like a dickhead to anyone that hadn't noticed it earlier in the year when we weren't considered a premiership threat.

2010: I only missed the first GF, so 100% strike rate in finals.
2011: My only blemish in the last 8 years was this GF. Was at the QF and PF.
2012: Missed this final series, went 1-2.
2013: Didnt go, 0-1.
2018: Missed the QF, went to the SF and PF. 100% again.

Currently going at 87% (7 wins, 1 loss)

EDIT: Pies have gone at 57% (8 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw)

Im going and believe I’m a good omen. My brothers sometimes a bad omen, didn’t get a ticket for today.
