You'd hope CR gets served up a few winnable chances in the first bloc of games before say the interleague game assuming that is going ahead.
Winnable games I mean Myrtleford and maybe Lavington. Don't think Raiders will be classed as an easybeat if a few things go there way in next week or so.
The worry is the recruiting of some bona fide stars hasn't eventuated. Even with the extra cap space we read about this week.

Christie signed and playing. Add in McDonagh and Jorgenson, plus Cattapan, Allison, as well as one more that is apparently in the wings, then surely they would have to be stronger than last season. I think the real win will be Jorgenson up forward allowing Tom Boyd to play permanently at CHB. Murray also needs to run through the guts more often you would think if they are going to compete with the top 3 sides regularly.

Also hearing from someone on the inner at Corowa that numbers on the track have dropped off considerably already after a couple of weeks. Geez I hope they can get up for next season, but from what we have seen so far it looks like they are going to struggle to put a team on the park that could compete in the TDFL or O&K

Is Cody Schutt playing next year?

Being chased hard by both Wodonga teams and the Joss Tigers. Won't be at the WJ according to my sources

I’ve heard not at all happy with where the clubs going. Disappointing to hear the local talent being overlooked, again, for ring ins that fleece the club of its hard earned.
What are the chances of Cattapan, Allison and Jorginho being 100 game players let alone 50 games?

think they can make up 80 points on Yarra & Maggies?
Cast your mind back to round 8, Baulch teased us I’ll admit, but we fired a warning shot to Stevie and the rest of the competition. And that famous Good Friday win, you have a short memory, Baulch’s season highlight a nice shovel from the pack to assist the sealer. Wangaratta are spent, surely they can’t drag those old work horses around for another lap, show them some respect and release them to pasture.

Knowles, Sharrock, Melville, Clarke, Federico are the midfield. All mid 20’s
Rovers in for another wasted season again I’m afraid. Sorry mate, just don’t want you getting your hopes up again like this year.

Does anyone know what corowas recruiting policy is? I'm not doubting their best intentions to get a side back on the park, but what's their plan

It seems like they are travelling all over the countryside to find blokes, are they looking in their own backyard first ? Why not throw big money at lappin and cooper from chiltern? And Newnham and Haugen from Sandy creek? Look at getting 10 guys local in, pay them more, you'll find more come.

Look at north Albury tapping into the Riverina, they've got a plan with recruiting, what's corowas plan, they should be saying, we want the best young district guys to play for us, it seems like they are just going far and wide and hoping throwing the chequebook around.

Have they tried getting Josh Kennedy for home games? Should they have thrown the kitchen sink at a lewis taylor as a playing assistant coach for 4 years, with the help of horse. Even get houla and fev to play round 1 on Easter, get some excitement into the team and town

CR is going to need some recruits soon. Early reports on here of their draw are spot on.

I’ll be heading down for the Q&A. I’d love to ask John what his thoughts are on country football player payments and wether he believes the AFL should be putting more money in to grassroots clubs. IF Josh Kennedy plays in the O&M it’ll be a one off for the Raiders, he’s verbalised this. Why can’t the Horse chopper Buddy in one weekend for some crowd funding? Thoughts?
