Another ex Corowa kid Tyler Lewis “re-signed” at Wang Rovers a few weeks ago. What all this and recruiting grinding to a halt a month ago points to is no reserves in 2024. This is the massive gamble on not at least having an under 18 side in 2023 not paying off.

Their under 16s played off in a GF in 2023, so I assume they would be quite strong in the under 18s in 2024.

Rutherglen under 17s made the GF this year, a number of kids in that side were from the Roos, most should go back to get another year of junior footy 1 would hope.

Now they can’t buy the kids back, the smart ones want to be developed by high IQ football brains, can you blame them? Heearing Corowa have paid huge $$$ for blokes from Melbourne who are average footballers. I hate to say it but I think come after Xmas it may take a turn for the worse after talking to a couple of well connected people over the weekend

Ol Geoffy has rose coloured glasses when it comes to rovers and can be accused of putting an extra helping of mayo on most things, but his concern for Corowa is well founded. How is it being negative troll? Stating the facts that big $$$ have been paid for players that arent going to be match winners. Those words from an ex legend of the club and recent committee member so fair to say the info is most probably on the mark.

Hope they dont fall in a hole after xmas the town and league need them in the league . Lets just hope the current Committee starting from the President down go down the right path and the blokes that they have paid overs for are there for more than 1 year
