Almond has the smarts to stem the potential flow, but I’d say getting with in ten goals would be a win. Albury didn’t break a sweat last week and that was with the afternoon sun biting. Rovers by 200 points over Corowa, Wodonga by 35 points over Myrt, Yarra by 60 points over Lavi and NA to upset Wangaratta in a close one.
Very astute with the Wang match.

What did we learn today?

-Yarra will be ripe for the picking without Fothergill for an extended period.
- Wang has too many egos (on and off field)
-Albury are the real deal
-Rovers arent
Corowa - Myrtleford will be a close game. Past Players should be scheduling their reunion for the first week in August.

Word is Reid called a compulsory crisis meeting this morning, players forced to listen to North Albury’s theme song on repeat until they could recite the entire thing. Watching from afar, I’d say too many roosters not enough pens over the lane. Like I stated months earlier, I’d be happy to foot the bill for Baulch to have a run if you guys are looking for a new forward.
I think a few roosters got sold off this morning out of the poultry shed

A few teammates almost came to blows, mediation was required, at least one will walk this week is what I’ve heard from a close associate of the clubs. I’m tipping it’ll unfold pretty quickly. A while back I was managing a very very good football side, we had similar issues, testosterone levels off the Richter scale, peacock chests that couldn’t fit through the chase sideways. The best way to deal with it, gloves out, kiss make up and get on with it, we’re all eyeing off the same prize.

Maybe some players found out what a recruit was being paid and has now revealed hes heading OS midway through year.

Not unlike the FAVOURITES to get ahead of themselves after beating a team that didn’t play last year by 50 points on their home deck in round two.
We get it, they are the favourites again. 30 year drought is officially over at city oval

Round 3 tips. Reid has the axe hovering and Wangaratta have shown they don’t like the 6pm time slot, I’m tipping Wodonga to put them to bed early.
Rovers over Raiders by 12 goals, NA to get Corowa by ten goals, Yarra will discard of Myrt by 9 goals. Albury to send Schneider’s men back to the drawing board in an old fashioned drubbing.

I assume you are talking about Federico? If I knew he was going on holiday after the first interclub, the club would have been well aware. Maybe these games off are part of the juggling act for fitting everyone in the cap!

Oh Larry you have gone the chirp before a game you are only marginal favourites for. I'll get the popcorn ready!

Who was the best with the dukes you've seen, other than looking in the mirror each morning ?

Data collecting for future reference, Wangaratta had 16 more clearances, 21 more hit outs and 17 extra inside fifty’s than NA and still managed to fumble the four points. Both sides had 19 scoring shots. Besides some wayward kicking, this tells me there’s no chemistry or structure in their forward half, they need to clear the entire 50 and throw either Moore or big Newto deep, simple. Reid should know this, watching closely in round 1 their forward line was completely cluttered. And don’t send the ball in too high or they start jumping at shadows.

Broomhead’s actions are starting to speak for themselves. As for Wangaratta, they had the first two games penciled as wins and shows what happens when a side disrespects the opposition. Rovers played keepings off for the first 30 minutes before they woke up, then the finger pointing starts.
