One possible change?

I'd like to see Malthouse try something outside the norm for the preliminary final.
Tyson in for Leon.
He's a good mark, athletic and can kick a booming torpedo if needed. It might just throw the opposition off guard as he would not be expected in the forward line.
As much as I love Leon, we can't afford in the two biggest games of the year to have a crumbing forward have 8 possessions when we get 68 inside 50's.

Good to see another "slip the slipper into Davis" thread. I wonder if there's anything else to talk about. I'm surprised that there's hasnt been a few posts on getting Rusling back into the team for the prelim. He's the natural replacement for Leon...

Nate did play well, but he's just keeping Presti's spot warm. This isn't the H&A season, you can't reward sporadic good work - you have to go with what you know.

Brown did well, but Hall still had 5 shots on goal, and could have hurt us more.

It is harsh on Nathan, but Presti is in our best 22, while Nathan isn't just yet.

Having said that, there's no guarantee Presti will be right for the prelim, as we are still guessing that another 2 weeks will be enough for him to recover fully.

I've liked what Brown has showed while Presti has been out recently though, it shows we could go on next year with confidence if Presti decided to retire.

Agree with Matty, Nate played well but seriously it Presti, and you cannot possibly take Reid out.
Davis is absolutely ZERO chance of getting dropped, I thought he played pretty well, between him and Blair W.B couldn't get it out of our F50.
Both of them did what they're in the team to do, and did it well. IMO

Simple, Presti in for N. Brown. As much as Brown has been good for us since Presti has been gone you just cant leave out Presti if hes fit, its like leaving out Scarlett for Geelong.

I'm hoping Goldsack retains his spot. I have great confidence he can play his role next week after experiencing the final this week. He was out worst player on the night, but I'm confident he can redeem himself.

If he was to be replaced then I would choose between Lockyer and Davis. Lockyer I would be a little more confident in, but Davis of the pair has played more recently so I would say he would be the one to come in.

Medhurst just hasn't performed well at AFL level recently enough to deserve a call up for mine.

Nah, two blanketing defenders would not work well at all.

Presti in for N.Brown
and unless Goldsack keeps his spot in the team then it'd be likely for Davis/Lockyer to claim a position.

Davis cant really play finals footy so Lockyer may be the option there as he can pretty much cover any position, but then again Lockyer hasn't been performing too well.
