Unlikely.
3 women on Freo board are supporting Lyon, apparently, so it can’t have been too bad.
Depends who they are.

4 weeks ago Collingwood supporters were calling for Buckley's head and saw a bottom 4 finish on the cards for this season. Now they think their club is a contender and that Buckley is a great coach. :D
Can see a new contract on offer.

Lids out with hAmstring soreness again ...was looking in good touch also
They’ll have to manage him for the rest of his career. They would have planned for these things in the pre-season.

Why do people want high scoring?

IMO seeing scores of 120 to 140 is ****ing shit, goals are almost meaningless if they are so often

I love when the tiges kick a well earned goal after some hard work, feels so good

I wonder if all these ex players and mates of bomber Thompson would be thinking it's really sad if they found out bomber was selling to their kids the meth, mdma and all the other shit that was found in his locked room. I doubt it, in fact I think they'd be out for his blood, if he's found guilty throw the book at him and lock him away. Plenty of people have gone to jail for a lot less too.

Nathan Buckley made great points about the state of the game.

They implemented the “only kick forward” rule in vfl and the game got more congested because players knew they didn’t have to cover behind the ball kicker so all congested to the front of the ball carrier.
They ditched the rule very quick.

Also, lowering interchange would make players more lethargic and make the skills of the players degrade much faster over time which causes missed kicks to targets, shots on goal.

The only problem is the enormous amount of players around a small area at umpire stoppages but as soon as the ball is bounced, that soon opens up.

Also Buckley mentioned umpires are not paying “holding the ball” anymore which further congests the game as players run to the contest in numbers while the ball is stationary.

Good post Smasha...they don't pay holding the ball like they used to - get rid of this 'prior opportunity' shite!
That's the whole fricken point - when you're in possession of the footy you have to dispose of it properly by hand or foot, if you don't do so when you're tackled, it use to be either dropping or holding the ball. Not hard to umpire that!
Well, that's how it was in the 'good old days' anyway
I'm going to have a nap now...

Slobbo and Whately two salty flogs trying to set the agenda for the AFL. Slobbo quoted the 2 Richmond games as unwatchable.

The Anzac Day fizzer and Essendon vs Melbourne were much worse. Richmond scored 215 compared to the Druggies 124 over the 2 games, so that view doesn't stack up.

Slobbo unwatchable.

I can't remember the last time I saw dropping the ball called as a free kick, all you do now is get tackled and drop the ball

play on next bloke grabs it and rinse repeat until someone can get a clean possession, they need to reward the tackler more but that would just advantage us because we tackle so much.

he would be having a wank under the table if his beloved essendrugs was playing richmond football

This is the one. How many times do we see a player grab the ball, get tackled, and then just drop the ball without even trying to kick or handball. Surely just letting go of it is incorrect disposal? If the men in anything but white started paying a few of these blatant frees, I think we'd see the congestion break up pretty f**king quick.

I know, I know. It's far too simple to try.

lol dumb campaigner human goes into lion enclosure and they shoot the lion dead :drunk:
Where was that? Should have let the stupid campaigner take his chances with the lion. Don't they use tranquilizers anymore?
