One and all should avoid doing anything to lose the pleasure & privelege of reading threads on this board & making the occasional post. ODN is right ....this forum board generally is much ...much ...funnier in quantity than Bay 13! ( PM me if anyone wants links to the classics!)

It all seems to be going well anyway .....ODN is being very obliging and tolerant.

I saw the original OP ages ago with a certain poster "S------" formerly named in thread title, therefore only fair that he has rights of reply?!

I also saw the OP ironing too!!!!

But it seems the whole thread is about " lets take our bat and ball back to our own back yard and practice up and hopefully we can learn to beat those nasties next time"?????

No, the poster came before the title. He got a little upset that the finer points of his work wasn't more respected around these parts. I had empathy and paid tribute accordingly.

When ODN finally gets around to responding to these two posts then maybe you will have a point.

I agree with you for the most part, but I do think there are successful carlton trolls over there, though as you say the dice are loaded against them, but many carlton posters are using this to their favour, agreeing with posters, and playing up the visy, pratt, criminal thing thereby turning the troll on its head.

It is all cyclical, almost every team has its moment to be burnt on bay 13 (except brisbane), and if a team is doing well it will usually shuts a lot of the knockers up.

Towards the end of the year carlton had a good run and there weren't many trolls against them. The offseason, on the back of the warnock trade with the suggestion of salary cap breaches, many carlton centred trade rumours plus the optimistic carlton predictions saw carlton become the whipping boy of bay 13.

It will probably change when the season starts, as the real season has a way of disturbing inter-club troll alliances. Plus people will become bored of trolling carlton.

It seems to be many things. It just depends what spin you want to put on it at the time.

Not at all. Initially that will be the attack, but if the poster can overcome that and prove themselves they can rise above who they support.
