Can't do it,there are too many to fit into ten on form across the year. We have to be favourites for the flag this year based on having such players. Can't think of another team that has so many riches.

Going into this season...

1. Jimmy Bartel
2. Joel Selwood
3. Steve Johnson
4. Corey Enright

The next seven are just too difficult to split:
Tom Hawkins
Tom Lonergan
Paul Chapman
James Kelly
Harry Taylor
Matthew Scarlett
James Podsiadly
Joel Corey

Sorry, but 10 just doesn't work for me.

1. Boris
2. Sj
3. Bartel
4. Selwood
5. Kel (but you could mix 2-5 however you like and I wouldn't complain)
6. Smithy
7. Lonergan
8. Scarlett (sorry to put Lonergan ahead of Scarlett, and such a legend as low as 8, but the old man is clearly nearing the end - although he's got enough class to exit near the top)
9. Mackie - agree with the comment above on his epic (and often unnoticed) grand final. I have never seen him give so much for the club. Hope he keeps it up.
10. Taylor

Editorial comments:
- Just can't put Hawkins in top 10, although obviously he showed good form when it counted. He needs to string a good season together first.
- Harry Taylor had some soft moments last year. But I can't leave him out.
- Chappy's done in my view. Would love him to prove me wrong!
- I am interested in people naming Varcoe and Stokes in this list. I just don't rate them at (or near) that level.
- I expect Christensen to be in this list in 12 months, and I think Menzel would already be if he had finished off 2011 fit.
