That's the combination I want to see start every quarter and left for as long as possible. Has Polo even been in the centre square at a single centre bounce this season? I haven't seen Tuck in there much at all either. They are our 3 toughest midfielders and will get the ball out. I also want to see Raines given a run in there. I really don't like to see more than 1 receiver in the middle at any stage. But we seem to play a combination of 2 or even 3 recievers at the same time in the middle. No wonder why we got smashed in the middle in the 2nd half against Carlton and to a lesser extent Collingwood. I'm tired of Johnson being treated as some inspirational leader and so called tough midfielder. He's not tough, he doesn't break packs. All he does is run in circles looking for the give away handball because he is crap.

Terry is half the reason we have lost 3 games this season. When I see an engine room of Johnson, Krakouer and Tambling starting the second half, then I can see why the opposition come back. I even saw Pettifer in the middle at one stage. We want our ball winners in there. Come on Terry, wake up mate

Johnson is way better than Tuck, but I agree with Polo starting in the middle.

Our midfield has a long way to go before we become semi decent.

Tuck's worthless though, we should give that time to Tambling or Edwards instead imo. Both have similar defensive pressure but both are far better users of the ball and can extract it well.

It's not about having 1 good combination. What we lack (and why we have lost the last 3 games) is depth of quality through the middle. We are too reliant on too few and it has cost us. Unfortunately that depth still looks a while away.
