So many things i could say, but i'll repeat on what others have already said in a differant light so 'The_Fresh' may understand.

Rocca = One of if not The Most important player for us.

I'll tell you why.

He would get the oppositions tallest defender, leaving Cloke free to run a muck. Not to mention he is unbelievabley hard for opposition to match up on because 'do they put their best on Cloke or Rocca?' Even if he isn't firing, which is occasional, he's still super important for giving Josh a rest. Giving us an extra runner as opposed to 2 ruckman.

Do you not remember when Rocca was fit last year, how well we performed??

As soon as I saw the Rocca description I knew it was going to get . Add the "useless as on a bull" comment and it was a foregone conclusion.

You can not honestly say Rocca is over rated and follow it by saying Dawes can take a good mark and reads the play well. They are Dawes too main flaws. Dawes is very often lost in the play. Gets himself caught in no mans land to the ball carrier far too often and is very poor above his head. Rocca is miles ahead of Dawes at this stage. Regardless of your veiw of Rocca he provides a target and creates a contest which is something Dawes is not ready to do.

Agreed with that Dawes sometimes get's lost on the Field and goes to the Wrong Spot. Those I seen Dawes Create Contests if he can get there. The lack of a Good Over-Head mark hurts him there.

Those I still think Dawes will play AFL because just can't see Rocca playing every single game.

Just hope Dawes can show some improvement in the VFL and keep it going during the Whole season

Well The_Fresh wasbrave enough to put himself out there with his post and like most others I disagree with quite a few of his opinions..... I also agree with Opti's classic fail LOL.

Two good things...... He had a go and he does barrack for the Pies.

I do hope The_Fresh you re assess your views on Rocca coz lots of Pie fans just love Roccaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Firstly I may have rushed some as time was getting to me in the end.

Secondly no I don't read draft or training reports and go on what I see, I've played high levels of footy, I'm able to read a game better than most people I believe.
Rocca to me is past whatever his best was. Fraser is just far to lazy, doesn't chase when needed and once in a while has a good game.

IMHO those 60-70 metre goals will become vital for our team with other teams flooding in defence and players as good as hodge roaming around in defence. plus there morale boosters and theres only a few players left at an afl level that can actually pull those goals off so it's a big advantage for us.
