31) Dustin Fletcher - Fletch is, well , Fletch. Doesnt get beaten too often unless he has to play body on body. We struggle to win without him and he is probably the best kick in our side. Is very cool under pressure and our defence always looks more composed with him there.
32)Andrew Lee - was ok last year in what was his first full season of footy without major injury problems. Has had a foot injury pre season which has put him behind a little but is ready to play for Bendigo now. Is one of our big hopes as far as tall defenders go. Hasnt had a chance to do much yet so this year we will hopefully see some more development from him . Needs to be playing solid footy for Bendigo and be puching for senior selection by the end of the year.
33) Adam McPhee - has had a few niggles this pre season but nothing major which is good. His last two years havnt been good enough but he hasnt had his body right either. This year he has the chance to get back to his old form. One worrying sign from him this pre season has been his turnovers. if he can get this out of his game he can return to his old form.
34)Jay Neagle - has slimmed down a lot this year but he is still in the project player file. Would be good if he is playing well enough at Bendigo for him to be putting his name up for selection towards the end of the year. Isnt ready at this stage and i dont expect to see a lot of him this year.
35)Tom Hislop - has spent a fair bit of time in the modified group so far. Has nice skills and a solid body but will have to bide his time to break into the senior lineup.
36) Sam Lonergan - has had a few injuries last year and again this pre season. Looks just about ready to play again. Needs to put some good performances up this year to consolidate his position. Is a good goal kicking small forward who has done well in the middle when he has been fit enough to play there. Is on the border line but he has shown signs that he could be a handy player.
37)Kyle Reimers - havnt seen a lot of him pre season as far as trail games go but he was very good for Bendigo v Sandy when he played on Pickett.Another of our longer term projects.
38) Jay Nash - has had trouble getting over his foot injury which has halted his pre season. Very skillfull player who isnt overly fast but is very composed under pressure. Hasnt done a lot to date but in the few games he has played he has shown promise.
39) Heath Hocking - has had a good pre season. last year he had a number of injuries which limited his games but when he did make it onto the field for bendigo he was good. Has had a couple of really good trail games so far this year and if he continues to play like he has he would be a good chance for promotion to the senior list.
40) Dean D1ck - hasnt played much footy pre season because of a quad injury. Is ready to play for Bendigo when they kick off their season. Skills look ok and moves well for a reasonably tall bloke.
41) Danny Charters - has looked promising so far. Has a good leap and is a strong mark. He has a good left foot kick but he can spray it at times. Should get better as his fitness improves.
42)Nathan Lovett-Murray - has improved every year and with 50 games under his belt one would hope he can be a good player week in and week out. Doesnt look much chop when he has to play on big forwards but as a running half back he looks good. His disposal has improved but it has to continue to improve as well as he can still trun it over a bit. He used to be prone to a lot of fumbles below the knees but that area of his game has improved a lot.For us to go forward we need players like him to step up further.
43) Bacher Houli - profesional and dedicated ! Gives 150% all the time. Needs to gain confidence in his disposal and quicken his decision making but has done well so far. May well play a few games this year simply because he works so hard all the time that he puts his name up for selection.
44)Lachlan McKinnon - has had a pretty good pre season , well up to last week when he injured his groin. Has bulked up a little and his ruckwork looks ok. Looks to be a promising rookie who could earn a spot on the senior list.
