That is a bloody great team.....weather they are "underdone" yet or not....that is a dam good team. How could you tip against it, or not expect it to win!!

In today W/A pav does an interview with JC:

Pav: How close were you to staying?

JC: Not that close once we had won the flag. If we hadn't won I probably would have stayed. I would have been very annoyed if I had left and they had won the following year. Pretty selfish of me, but that's how I felt!!

Pav: Is playing alongside your brother Matthew all it's cracked up to be?

JC: Yeah, it is. Its good fun. I know Mum & Dad are enjoying it probably more than us, but it is good. Both of us being in the leadeship group we find it easy to bounce ideas off each other. We are always talking about what we can do better and what intiatives we can take.

Pav: How have you found the public/media scrutiny in Perth?

JC: It's a bit stronger over here. Over there (Adelaide) obviously if the team, or individually, you're not playing that well they have a crack....the clubs and the media seem to work more together over there and have a better relationship. Both the media and the public often have a lot to say here!!

Pav: What happened on that bus trip with the Port players after the flag when it was reported you told them you would be staying?

JC: I got asked the question on the bus by one of the boys, Chad Cornes, on Mad Monday whether I was going to stay and I said I wasnt 100% sure but I think I'am staying. Chad then stood up and told the rest of the bus and then the boys kept coming up and asking me and I said "yeah, I think I will". Thats what I was feeling at the time. Then Matty Primus got on Adelaide radio that night and said that I had agreed to stay. He came up to me afterwards and said that he'd dont the wrong thing by saying that. Choco found out and I went and saw him the next day.


There is a lot more to the interview....but i cant be bothered typing it all out. Talks how we are the opposition now, is rapt about his decision to leave Port, and he thinks Port will only be up there for the next two years!!

Was it always about JC for JC? . He calls us the enemy now...so I he is ours!! As for Media scruntiny he aint seen nothing yet!!!

But I thought last night did warrant a highlighting of at least one comment directed freo's way before the game......And here it is

I think he thought you meant beat Brisbane in Brisbane as in "beat the reigning premiers in Brisbane" ... hence the confusion.

Like I mentioned Fremantle in my original post and I was talking about our away game loss to Fremantle just like Brisbane's away game losses to Fremantle plus it formed part of oporto's reply which had Sabre's name in it.

It appears that this Eagles supporter is that vain he/she believes we are all talking about them.
