Ill attend both, and I'd much rather tbe Redbacks win a final
They can win a final at Rolton, there’s a good chance that the ground would not be reinstated properly or a higher injury chance for the crows on AO after a pitch install and removal.

Final should definitely be at AO, and AFL should not start before late March at the earliest. This is clearly cricket season.
Its CA's fault - all due to the Big Bash taking priority during December and January (school holidays) when no shield cricket is played.

Take that shit away and the shield season would be finished.

Doesn't the machine that brings in the pitch cause some damage to the surface for a few days?

Will the grass be cricket length (short) instead of footy length (long)??
The machine doesn't damage the surface.

Yes the grass might be shorter and that's a small reason to be concerned..... but only a small one.

If the Crows thought it would be dangerous they wouldn't play on it.

Should be great to see these people flock to the ground to watch the team they care so much about.

Whats the cost of entry? Dollar coin donation?

Apparently there are a couple hundred thousand people that want the jellybacks to win, shame they don't know where AO is.

State cricket is like baseball in the US, it's primarily for kids, old people and losers.

(I have loser privilege so I can say this)
What in the world?

The top teams in baseball (Dodgers, Yankees, Philly, Padres) all played 80 home games in 2024. They averaged 40,000+ per game.

State Cricket is like the SANFL and Woman's AFL had a baby they gave up for adoption because it was too ugly.

Why is it, that people who don't follow a sport in this country seem to love to denigrate those who do ??

Im guessing you've got stacks of mates
I don’t think it’s that unfair to have a crack at those who don’t ever go then suddenly want to jump on.

Shouldn’t get to that.
This is on the SACA, don’t give up to the oval to football if the season is still running.

Like the thousands of people who go to NRL SoO and not their club games ??
That’s a different team though? Redbacks have played all season

Funny, baseball is a vastly inferior product too

I agree it shouldn't get to that, but if the Shield season isn't finished yet, don't have AFL games there.
That’s on the SACA not afl. It’s the afl keeping AO alive
