Despite what i may or may not have posted about him in the past i've always loved Pagan, we are on the way now, we're up and about.

I saw Denis walking out of the meeting last night.
You should have seen the size of the smile on his face. It looked weird.

I hope I wasnt hearing things, but just announced on SEN news that Pagan has been appointed to the board...Surely he would need to nominate first ??

That explains where JB's getting his $8 million from.

Dennis coaching Carlton was all part of a cunning Ron Joseph plan to strip Carlton of their money and bring it to Arden St.

I don't think I can ever forgive him for the way he left the club after whining about the work he would have to do for his ridiculous pay cheque. If he wants to redeem himself then I am not petty enough to deny him that opportunity.

I would be a hypocrite to say I love Denis now so I wont say that, I just hope he can do a lot of good on the board and in time the old wounds will heal.

Just hope he doesn't plan to spend next year living on media street. ;)

Actually, I think he'd be a great spokesman for the club, on the appropriate issues.

Picture the media conference :

USC "Aren't the players worried by the club's uncertain future, and the fact that James Brayshaw's flimsy rescue plan will inevitably fail?"
JYD : "Our players are just focussed on playing football".
Denis : "Listen Caro, don't piss on my leg & tell me it's raining."
:p

spoke to him a couple of weeks ago when had been presumed hed be on the board, sort of congratulated him then a bit early but i think he seemed resigned to the fact that it just might happen. well done budgie put the carlton yrs behind you.

Pagan to become Kangaroos board member

December 7, 2007 - 5:56PM

New Kangaroos chairman James Brayshaw has confirmed former coach Denis Pagan will become a board member at the defiant AFL club.

Pagan coached the `Roos to the 1996 and `99 premierships, leaving them in 2002 to take over at Carlton.

The Blues sacked him as coach earlier this year.

The announcement of Pagan's return to Arden St came after the club board announced on Thursday that it was rejecting the AFL's proposal to relocate to the Gold Coast.

Welcome back home Dennis. Good to have one of our favourite sons back.

Having Dennis back just has success all over it. Extremely professional person and thats what we need professionalism and passion at board level.
