It happens sometimes to youthful teams on the rise. They lose against poor opposition, and allow mediocre players to look good.

It's frustrating, but it's part of the process.

I don't normally count backwards kicks.

But even so, 45% is 12% more than one in three.

Or, reduced to a ratio 12 % = 3/25.

3/25ths is a fraction. Quite a small fraction too.

Tom Mitchell's kick ratio is therefore indisputably "a fraction over one in three".
