No problem with you being an opposition supporter! It's just that Shaw is a much, much better player than Heritier Lumumba.

Fair enough.

Correct me if I am wrong - but hasn't Hertier Lumamba finished in the top 10 of your clubs best and fairest in 2010,2011,2012,2013,2014 (with 2013,2014 having Hertier Lumamba being in the clubs top 5). This is in addition to being an All Australian.

Shaw didn't feature in the top 10 of the Copeland from 2010, 2011, 2012.

May be wrong - but thought this was the case?

Shaw did a lot of the dirty work in the back line. Harry was more visible and great at breaking tackles, but Shaw was more valuable to the team. IMO.

Probably why he stands out to me as an opposition supporter. Always thought Hertier was so damaging with his run and carry off half back.

Yep. Harry more likely to win the goal of the year award, but Shaw more likely to win the golden fist award. Also, much better one on one in a marking contest.

Damn... Dangerfield to Collingwood rumours have gone through the roof today.

1. I was told this morning that he is definately not leaving.

2. Then I was told he was confirmed to go to Collingwood through a trade.

3. And now I heard that he was seen leaving the Westpac Centre. (apparently confirmed by Ben Kennedy)

1 and 2 dont seem legit. 3 is possible though...

Confirmed. He was seen leaving a Westpac ATM with around $400.

How did BenKen confirm this?

A friend of his said that BenKen saw Dangerfield at the Westpac.

Really don't know what to believe... Just have to wait and see.

Respect your view, but I never felt Harry was close to Heater to be honest. I've always rated Heath very highly and Harry hasn't been the same since 2010.

Absolutely. Will 100% defer to you guys who obviously have seen them a hell of a lot more than I have. Just want to re-confrim i rate em both as footballers and think they would make any clubs best 22.

Apologies that I have de-railed the thread. The original discussion was regarding me making a flippant comment about how both Adelaide and Collingwood have lost some bloody good players over the past few years and should get together to discuss keeping their stars....

You mean... collude... :D

If they're gonna trade him they may aswell accept melbournes offer, unless he's for some reason chosen collingwood. I'll believe it when I see it, time will tell

TRADE:

After days of speculation regarding the future of Patrick Dangerfield. We can confirm that Dangerfield WILL be going to Collingwood.

Details of the trade are yet to be revealed, but it is a certainty that Dangerfield will be in the black and white in 2015.

Finally some good news for Collingwood fans.
