Is he contracted? Any chance he would slip through to the PSD?

He is coming out of contract. I think he will be either traded or re-signed rather then going into the PSD

I heard the other day that most clubs are baulking at him because he has to have injections every week for his back.
I don't think he will re-sign with us... he seems to be disgruntled and un-happy with the club
Heaps of natural talent but unfortunately hasn't got the body to go with it and it will only deteriorate from this point on. I wouldn't hesitate to trade him for 2nd round pick.
That is just ridicilous he WON our clearances, our 1st possessions and disposals per game, and you want to trade him for a 2nd round pick.. that is just ridicilous.
I dont know how accurate this info is but i heard or read that hasleby was offered $250,000 for a 2 year deal which he does not want to sign as it it a bit of a decrease in salary compared to the $420,000 he was on in 2007.
considering Des Headland is on like 350k, 250k is a disgrace for a player such as Haselby. They should offer him up to like 500k based on performance. If he can't get his body up, then he doesn't get the full amount, but at least he has the potential to.
Dess is out of contract this year as well. So I think they both will be downgraded, and if they don't like it they can see what other offers are around. Anthony Van der Wielin is not a manager's a/hole though, so I don't like Haze's cahnce of $420k, which BTW is way too much.
In the end it isn't the manager who is responsible for Hasleby's contract being downgraded. He has not done enough to warrant his current pay-scale.
Same with Headland and Farmer. That's 3 of our top earners who have had a generally disappointing few years, and now that contract negotiation time is here, they will be called to account. Bundle Longmuir into that and it is very ordinary.
Hasleby shouldn't be traded. He wins our clearances. The leading clearance player at the SuperHawks is Mitchell who is not exactly the quickest player around, yet I do not see him being traded or delisted. Hase will be better with another preseason under his belt and should be handed a lesser contract due to his indiscretions.

Freo should just stop trading; period. They don;t know how to do it and always get r*ped. Every time the urge to trade strikes they should just have a cup of tea and a good lie down and wait until it passes.
You must on some good stuff down south. Haze thinks he's worth more than what FFC are prepared to pay and the Club knows what this ailments are the club ha sinvited him and his manager o test the market.
If carlton are prepared to pay $420K+ for him good luck to him then but they will be getting damaged goods for that price. I'd take scotland in a flash!!
