Riewoldt. He can change games. For basically the second half of last season he carried Saint Kilda into the 4.

Goodes next as he can break open a game also.

Pavlich last as he is overrated. If Fev can kick 99 with Carlton, surely Pav should be able to kick close to it. Pav is overrated and when the game is on the line, he always misses or hits the post.

I will forgive you because you obviously dont watch too many Fremantle games and really who does? but Fev would rarely go up the ground and you could probably count on one finger how many times he is in the backline in a season. Not to mention Pavs 4xAA, and the fact that fev has a midfield twice as talented as Fremantles.

Riewoldt comes up too and can kick more goals. Pavlich CANNOT win games off his own boots. Riewoldt and Goodes can. Fev is good and Carlton's midfield is crap. A half good Judd, if even that, and an average player in Stevens. No other player even good at all.

I'd have any of them gladly and find them hard to separate, but to say Pav cannot win games off his own boot is ridiculous. I could name plenty - the two derbies last year for a start.

When the game is on the line, Pavlich hits the post or misses. He CANT win games off his own boot. Hird did it. Voss did it. Buckley did it. Ablett does it. Brown does it. Riewoldt can do it. Pavlich doesn't.

agree, Riewoldt in the last 7 or 8 games carried st kilda without him st kilda wouldd have missed the 8. Pavlich is a star in a team that just cant put together enough wins & Goodes, well, he's a freak at times but too many queit spells.

my pick is Riewoldt because he is just a good player, but realisticly i would sat either Pav or Goodes as they are both from South Aust/NT.

All 3 of the players are just as good as each other

I distinctly remember the second derby last year, where the game was beyond being on the line, and rather seemingly out of their reach, and he pulled the entire team across the line.

I would agree with you if you said pavlich has missed the chance to win games off his own boot in the past, however to say that he simply cannot do it, is a joke.

I guess when it comes to someone who hasn't had team success, people remember the missed opportunities and rather forget the ones that weren't.

^Because the Brownlow is an accurate measuring stick, hence the point that absolutely no one would be complaining if Ablett was a back-to-back brownlow winner....

Pavlich, just, over Goodes, then the Cry-Baby.

Pav is just as versatile as Goodes, but has a proven goal-scoring record. I'm sure Goodes could score plenty, just haven't seen it on a consistent basis due to where he has been playing.

Riewoldt is a super player, I just rank these 2 a little higher.

Indeed. Goodes got many votes last season and no one knows how he got them.

Pavlich and quite clearly for me. Riewoldt's a gun too but Pav kicks more goals and gets less help.

I don't really see the point in comparing either of them to Goodes, because he doesn't play at CHF. Goodes' best is freakish and as good as anyone's but his worst is atrocious. Love watching him play when he's on but he's also the most frustrating player I've seen.

Pavlich for me easily and i reckon if he was in a more successful team he probably would of won a few brownlows.

Riewoldt and Pav are pretty close for me. Riewoldt a better mark and forward target (not that their is anything wrong with Pav in this regard but Riewoldt is the best mark in the comp) and Pav can play anywhere.
Both a bit ahead of Goodes who doesn't get the job done consistanly enough IMO.

I would go for Goodes every day of the week. The guy can play almost any position, has two charlies and a GF. Anybody who saw him kick 6 majors in the u18 tac GF knew he was going to be a star. He's the most mobile ruckman for the past 25years.
