Doesn't really seem to have a rapport with the playing group, just goes about his thing. Hard as a cats head at the ball when he wants to be though!

See him smash through Saunders? Saunders off to hospital. B big key forwrad and he got poleaxed

Duckworth is from Lake Grace too, isn't he? Forgot about him. Shunts the Morton brothers down another peg in the best Lake Grace player ever stakes.
Fyfe, Daylight, Bairstow, Duckworth, Mitch Morton, Cale Morton, Jarryd Morton.

Orr brothers ?.

Wasn't it said in '14 we basically drafted him off a really impressive finals series for Subi. He likes to step up when the pressures on.

I for one rate finals performances at WAFL/VFL etc. level very highly. It's the closest you're going to get to see a player at the sort of intensity seen regularly in the AFL. Of course, a regular AFL game is a step up again because the level of talent etc., but some of those big finals, they come pretty close I reckon in terms of intensity and pace of the game.

Good on DeLuca, I certainly didn't think he had the kicking skills to play AFL but through sheer hard work (you would imagine) he has given himself every opportunity to be retained.

Deluca could be that quick, tough small skilled defender we have been looking for. His disposal is quite good. I can't believe I'm pumping up his tyres after some of the shit I laid on him on here. :$

Nah he play tagging ,more of a defensive mid that can rebound through his pace .

Tagging is a defensive role. Why couldn't he use his skills on the small forward pockets . He seems to have all the tools for that role.
Stop the supply from mid , you won half the battle letting opponent create opportunity in the forward line.

How good was it to see that F@#kwit Schloithe do next to nothing, never thought I could hate an ex Freo player but he just sends off such a smug arrogant vibe + his ducking is out of control, it is West Coast standard to make up for his clear lack of ability.

So glad to see him and Hams kicked out of finals

Suddenly freo got two young defensive mid
Deluca ( small fwd/ mid)
Grey ( mid/ hb - spurr )
Not that bad consider they are low pick compare to bulldog.

Would you say the more success Deluca has with these run with roles, the less chance someone like DeBoer or Barlow have of staying at the club, considering that's been their role at times in the senior team?

We need a small defender with pace Deluca fits the bill.
I am not disagree with you , but he is in great form in his current role , why you want to move him when he is in form now ,.

Yup i can really see him replace one of them. Especially if freo try to switch walters around to mid depend on opponent, having role player playing more than one position is pretty good. Ballas can't tag , deluca can, and deluca got the flexibility to play small forward too during his time with subi.
