Deluca could be that quick, tough small skilled defender we have been looking for. His disposal is quite good. I can't believe I'm pumping up his tyres after some of the shit I laid on him on here. :$

About Time you backed my judgement on him welcome aboard Salim .

Onya deboer. Leader of men. Sign him up for another year. Who's going to the wafl grand final? How much are the tickets? There should be walk up tickets available as per mcg?

Funny how De Boer, Clarke, Suban and Mzungu played AFL Grand Final in 2013 and now a WAFL GF in 2016.

Yep, evens up the fact that basically all the Subi players have been in three grand finals.

I always felt that South and Subi would be too good for Peel as they play together all year and the teamwork would show especially in the finals. I have been amazed, however, how well the Peel boys have gelled in the last three weeks and it is clear that they are in this grand final up to their necks.

It was strange watching the game on the weekend as a South supporter but will definitely be behind Peel for their maiden premiership.

Do they go in unchanged?

May need more mobility against Subi. Griff or Ape may be surplus?
nah they will be assets in the open forward line of Subi, Apeness marking at half forward and slotting them then Griffin marking at full forward and slotting goals

Wow, I'm surprised that Peel are favourites. Subi has beaten Peel when Peel had 18 Freo players earlier in the year.
To be fair the players at Peel have mostly had a whole season at Fremantle to improve from round 1 this year so apart from missing Weller, Bennell and A.Pearce I would suggest pretty much everyone in the Peel team has gotten better. (including players like Deboer who are in career best form)

Actually the season ledger is Peel 1 - Subi - 2. In the second loss Peel had 10 Freo players, in the first 19. The first was round 1; AFL boys bit more used to playing together for Peel now. All three games were close.
When they get a run on they are very hard to stop. If they kick straight while they are on top they'll beat Subi comfortably.

What are the chances on mzungu kicking the 1st goal for peel.

If he would be pretty unique achievement if he can do it. It would mean he would be the 1st player to kick a goal in a grand final for both Fremantle and Peel if he can manage it.
