I haven't watched that show in ages, **** it is terrible.
I enjoyed having Pendles on, but at the end they were even involving him in meaningless dribble about other teams affairs, really you could see Scott couldn't give a shit about any other club.
Pendles was great though, the close up footage of Pendles and Swanny was awesome, just shows how good they both are in close.
Thankfully I don't have to watch that shit show again this year, as they don't have Collingwood guests on that often.

It's also Quarters and Darcy, for a so called "smart bloke", Darcy says some ridiculously dumb things. Tonight he said he worried for Akermanis in 6 months time, then the "buzz" wears off. Aker will be a media star, we all know this, he will have plenty of opportunities to choose from, he is the new "AFL class clown" of the media ranks, and will have a long career in that role.
Really Darcy, you are worried for Aker? How nice.
Would love video of this. I actually watch the show every week, I just got distracted with DVDs today.
I tend to agree with Darcy - Aker has no credibility whatsoever and he's not smart enough to rely on humour or charisma or game analysis.

listening to footballers under the age of 25 talk on panels is like pulling teeth...
so nervous, you can almost see their brains trying to regurgitate their entire 30mins of press training after every question... its not until they hit the later stages of their careers when they relax a little and have a bit of a joke around...

Dawes (22) speaks very, very well on air, but is probably the exception.
I'm looking forward to Tooves getting a stint.
I want Jarryd Blair to get a gig one night, most little blokes once they get going can "talk under water", and I'd suggest Jarryd is no exception.
As far as Dawes goes, he has to be the most articulate Collingwood player we have had, well since James Clement anyway, who was a friggin genius.

Needs some media training if they're planning on letting him on TV more.
S'pose needs to be taken out of his vocab, and with enough training he can become a far better speaker. I think a lot of it was nerves because I've heard him on the radio and he's not that bad.
But yeah, brilliant player, and I had no idea he was THAT good at basketball. I knew he was good, but not THAT good. It hink from HIS perspective he made the wrong choice. Could have been on far more money in the NBA. Not that there was a guarantee he would have made it though.
