Ah ok, well, he'll be soaking up the feels-like-home highlights down at Black Diamond Corner.Nope

Reminded me of Steve Martin's travel advice: "Chapeau means hat ... oeuf means egg ... it's like those French have a different word for everything!".Cheese is code for French
I always thought it was a reference to the French and their will to fight - particularly highlighting their capitulation in WW2There’s a comment from the oppo board. “Cheese eating surrender monkeys” that comment is not just aimed at the Collingwood faithless but directed at our boards lack of confidence in tonight’s result.
I never understood the “cheese” reference but “ surrender monkeys” is totally appropriate.
I like cheese and will be imbibing while savouring a solid victory.
Nobody in my house does either. If we win I won't notice how tired I'll be. If we lose, geez it'll be a tough weekend. Nobody in my house shares my belief this is important so I'll get no mercy tomorrow.![]()

As long as we don’t let Daicos have a ridiculous game we will win.
Anyone else frustrated with having to wait so long between games?
Now I'm remembering 97/98 GFs how waking up at 9AM -> bounce at 2PM took 5000 years... arghh...
If it was as easy as that everyone would chose to be switched on all the time.Of course you can.
Perhaps not within games, but game to game
The moonwalk is in the videoHaha. I was there. I think, that was Charlie’s “Moonwalk”night??
Honestly this is good for us. Brings everyone closer to Murphy's levelI live in an upstairs Unit; looking WSW it's ominously dark/grey. Rain coming.
I dunno how much, but I'd say it'll be slippery tonight at the least.
Not at all, you can be a bit off and things like last week happen. If it was as easy as that everyone would chose to be switched on all the time.
Unless I’ve completely missed the premise here?

France had a good army but lack of communication and some outdated doctrines stuffed them. That said hope we don't get Blitzed tonight.I always thought it was a reference to the French and their will to fight - particularly highlighting their capitulation in WW2
What was the 3rd clanger ... the arms-and-legs-helicopter-blades leap, threatening to decapitate our talls?
ThisWhen you have a chance, you need to take it.

GWS dismantling Gold Coast means there's no reason to consider a loss as a good result tonight. If GC can make up the percentage on Collingwood (and they get to play PA and Ess), they could displace them to 5th and we can still play GC as 1v4.
Win!
I guess the problem was the Germans pretty much rolled straight through France to ParisFrance had a good army but lack of communication and some outdated doctrines stuffed them. That said hope we don't get Blitzed tonight.
