Jobs for the boys!

Kilkenny seems to have a pretty good football brain, so maybe he will add value to our coaching dept. Although, you'd like to think that would be up to our yet-to-be-determined future coach!

What a pathetic press release. The club remains an embarrassment.

Perth Glory can confirm that Adam Taggart has parted company with the club and signed with Brisbane Roar.

The 24-year-old rejoined Glory for a second spell in 2016 and scored 20 goals in 38 appearance over the course of the next two seasons.

The club is bitterly disappointed to have lost a player upon whom it took a huge gamble after injuries had stalled his career.

Glory played a key role in Adam's return to Australia, but despite a very strong offer from us to retain his services which would would have made him our highest-paid player, he opted to leave in a manner which showed no gratitude for the way he had been treated by the club.

It is also very disappointing that we were only made aware of his decision via an announcement from another club.

Further announcements regarding the squad for the 2018-19 season will be made in the very near future.

Embarrassing. Not surprising he wanted to leave. Was pretty much used as a super sub for a lot of the season despite being the only player who ever looked like scoring.

Can't begrudge him if he got a good offer and a promise of becoming the main man at Brisbane.

To be fair, he does have a bad history of injuries so the club nursed him through but he performed far better than Keogh.

Totally. Understand a lot of his bench performances were coming back from injury too, but I could understand it if he was frustrated.

Pretty annoying - first they took Maclaren and now Tags.

Are our Spaniards staying on?

We don't know yet. Andreu is gone but I have heard nothing on Torres. I thought Castro was a certainty to leave but I thought a few weeks ago there was talk he was willing to stay.
