Had to laugh at the commentary yesterday from Harper after Perth scored... WSW had so many chances to win it blah blah happening again blah blah. I must've missed the 5 or 6 clear cut chances Perth missed prior to scoring including hitting the post/bar twice.

Harper is a cretinous campaigner who shouldn't be anywhere near a commentary/pundit gig.

We looked horrible in my opinion. Those "chances" we had that hit the post really didn't ever look like going in. The only chance I thought we legitamtely could have scored was when Keogh had the one-on-one and that moment where we had three bites at the cherry and the keeper made fantastic saves. WSW looked far more impressive. Quick and direct but they obviously tired.

We would have SIX players in our defensive half when we had the ball. WHY? Wanderers didn't even have to press at times because there were only four players in their half. And when they did press, we really didn't keep the ball all too well.

Neville was horrible. Lowry, Posco and Mills were good but the rest of the team forward were very mediocre. No one would track back quickly enough and we looked really unfit. In the end, we were lucky to score.

Perth Glory is delighted to announce that Mitch Mallia and Jeremy Walker have joined the club on injury replacement contracts.

The duo has arrived to cover the enforced absence of Joel Chianese and Marc Warren who have unfortunately been sidelined by respective collar bone and ankle ligament injuries.

25-year-old Mallia became the youngster player ever to represent Central Coast Mariners in the Hyundai A-League when he made his senior debut, ironically against Glory, in January 2010.

He then spent three seasons with Sydney FC, making 17 appearances, 6 of which were starts.

The gifted midfielder’s first senior goal came against Adelaide United in February 2012 when he came off the bench to score the winner.

The ex-Australia Under-17 and Under-23 international left Sydney FC in 2014 and joined NPL NSW side Blacktown City for whom he has since averaged a goal almost every other game.

Mallia has been allocated shirt number 11.

Walker, meanwhile, also has previous Hyundai A-League experience having registered 16 appearances for Melbourne Heart between 2012 and 2014.

A tenacious defender who can operate at both left and right-back, the 24-year-old made his Hyundai A-League debut against Sydney FC in December 2012 having previously attended the Tasmanian Institute of Sport and played for Oakleigh Cannons while in Heart’s NYL side.

After parting company with Heart in 2014, he joined Hume City and then moved to England where he played for Concord Rangers and Braintree Town in the Conference South.

The former Australia Under-20 international returned to Hume City in 2016 before joining Green Gully for whom he made 25 appearances in the NPL Victoria last season.

Walker has been allocated shirt number 29.

Has this been confirmed by the club?

I thought it had but now there are reports he is set to have a medical or trial (I can't remember which) with the Victory.
