Do we have any power as Members to vote out the CEO? If not what power do we even have as members.

No only the board does, it's the same at other clubs. Our problem is that we don't have the power to remove those who are steadfastly keeping Trigg whereas the members of Melbourne clubs have the power to spill the board

Need to get 200 people to the game early and have someone with the petition waiting at the entrance to the bays.
Aim for 40,000 all from those at the game.

Any one who has twitter - tweet the line and ask for signatures.

Anyone who has Facebook - make it your status

Take a screen shot and up load it to Instragram.

Get the word out and get interested parties to sign.

Have signed.
It may not do much but at least it's something.

I have made up my mind to definitely go to the AGM this year, and I hope others do as well.

Signed - and passed the link and an impassioned explanation (nay "call to arms") to my other fellow Crows fans via facebook and email. Basically I said the following to my friends:

Lads, feel free to take a look at this online petition and sign it if you feel so inclined. It is a petition calling for the removal of Steven Trigg as CEO of the Adelaide Football Club and an independent review of the AFC board.

Just a bit of background: Apart from this year and primarily thanks to the Adelaide Oval which basically fell into their laps, the AFC executives have let the Crows slip from one of the top 4 teams in the comp (in terms of revenue and memberships) to somewhere in the 8-12 range in the competition. Above all though, Steven Trigg should have been sacked after the Tippett fiasco. His pathetic leadership at that time effectively cost us 3 first round draft picks and 3 second round draft picks.

Despite his incompetency, he served his suspension and was welcomed back to the club with open arms. And this was after Trigg (a year earlier) fired our best ever recruiting scout (Matt Rendell) for comments which were taken way out of context. Apparently making a comment about the concerning issues of indigenous footballers and their integration in the AFL is worthy of being sacked, whereas drafting illegal contracts and breaching the salary cap, and single-handedly crippling the club for a decade, is comparably a small misdemeanour worthy of a small holiday and a welcome return to work thereafter.

Anyhow, if Trigg was the CEO of any other organisation he'd have been given the boot, but the old boys club (the Crows' board) let him saunter back into his highly paid position, to perpetuate his mediocrity. Last week, the AFC officially separated from the SANFL, so we now own our own licence. That means we're heading towards something resembling a club which is less of a corporate entity and more of a member-sponsored organisation.

With that in mind, it's probably a good time to voice our concerns, do a bit of house-cleaning and move on from the Tippett era by shedding those who were responsible. So as I said, feel free to sign, and pass it on to any other Crows fans who might be interested.

Adios

If we're not SANFL owned anymore, who votes on who can be a board member?
