I'm glad I haven't had to worry about getting the game live - all the games have been live thus far this finals. Does mean waking up at 5, though!
I can't believe how difficult it is for Seven to finally broadcast a game live. They're doing such a shit job that it's confounding.

I did that in 04.
I stayed away from the net, or any news updates, and watched the Prelim Final v Brisbane here in Sydney on the replay which was an hour behind.
Unfortunately, I got an SMS from a friend who was in Perth saying, "bad luck, deserved to win" at some point early in the third quarter.

yeah, but with so many people being absolutely clueless about AFL up here, I didn't think anyone I knew would even be aware there was a game on... forgot about interestate friends!
