He was the gamble because he is a a bit older, still lean but got the talent.

Fair enough I have been concentrating on mainly Victoria, Qld and Tassie youngsters, I havent really looked into the older recruits.

this is good - its actually my first time and its strange that I still have about 6-8 players I thought may have gone by now that have not.

its also very hard trying to decide what you will take - best player v position and then wondering if some will hold til next pick.......which Kurt Tippett clearly did not!

IMO i think Tippet was taken way to early you have to take into account he was a year or 2 older than the players he was playing against at the champs. I rekon he'll go late in the draft or be a rookie selection.

I reakon he will really bolt. Bailey was a year older than everyone else last year, yet he went at 18. Tippett probably wont go that high given it's a stronger draft, but he will still go at around 25 or so IMO.

On the contrary IMO Tippet will slide into the first round. He is currently playing in the AFLQ and he is mixing it more than adequately with established players. Clubs will not be able to resist an opportunity to draft a versatile KP/Ruck with a massive upside.

for me, and I have said it for a while - i think he will bolt. whilst he is a little older i think that is countered by the fact he has only been playing for 2 yrs as well his ability to play ruck and fwd. has beautiful hands for palming and loves hitting a pack.

whilst billy morrison experience is still raw - not that raw that I would be unhappy with us taking him rd 1.
