plenty of players better than Zaharakis at 26. and i think he is more likely to slide in this draft and i think he will end up at freo ar collingwood in the 3rd round. why would we get him if players like stauss robinson heyne roughnead shoenmakers suban ect were available.

if we get trengove at pick 8 which i think we will then we will go for a mid at 26 probz and of the players above named, at least 1 wud be available and we should take that player

Gees if Suban was available, I'd be in heaven!
I know he's small, but gees, I'm having money on that kid to be this years Palmer. He works his arse off, and gets a shitload of the ball, but just doesn't have the polish to become an elite mid. But I reckon he could win the rising star on weight of posessions alone, and am pretty confident he'll make it to a good, above average, ballwinning semi-outside (but nuggety, not stick-like) mid.

Daniel Rich would be a great pick up at no26, he has a fantasic kick and knows how to find the footy. He's also one of those kids that relishes contact, would fit in well next to cotchin and lids!!

no idea if our recruiters have spoken too him or not but if i were craig cameron i would be taking a good hard look at him and assessing his injuries. it would make sense if he has been interviewed allready because as a player that fits our needs perfectly you would be crazy not to talk to a player high on your agenda.

i know others disagree but i think we should go a tall first and get a mid second. i think there are better mids than talls available at 26#. ive notcied that talls picked later in the draft have a minimal success rate and despite this years draft depth it would stilll be risky compared to selecting a mid at 26#. grabbing mckernan or trengove may not be as good as getting hartlett or ziebell but it fits our draft needs and allows us to pick up a mid that probly would have gone top 20 in past years, which tipifies this years depth.

id still rather zaharakis, the kids a unit, and has great skills, with experiance he will be a gun midfielder, this draft is a lucky dip, so theres no point judging now. I mean we took JON a skinny hack that is completly useless, and there was talks of him being the next big thing, soo really just have to see what happens....

my choice depends on if we draft a tall or a mid with pick8. i would like shoenmakers at 26 if we draft a small

or suban if we go tall.

having said that i wouldnt mind drafting 2 talls such as trengove and then roughhead or shoenmakers at 26

I also think that who we take at 8 may have some bearing on who we take at 26. Personally i think we should draft for needs at 26 if we take best available at 8.

Would really like Shoenmakers, Roughead, or Suban/Okeefe if we go tall with our first pick.
