Pick 27

Willie Rioli was drafted by Hawthorn in 1990 but never managed a senior game.

There's been plenty of Rioli's playing over the years (at a lower level) who haven't been deemed good enough for the big league, one is at Glenelg in the SANFL currently and he looks nowhere near AFL standard.

I don't doubt there's a few of them at the lower levels not up to AFL standard but in the big time, the ones that get selected turn out to be pretty good players.

Yep. If we miss him, we should draft his mum, because it is a proven surname. Has ablett got an aunt.

Id be keen on an Isaac Smith type. Actually if we could wind the clock back and draft Smith that would be awesome. Lol. Seriously though mature age winger with elite speed and good skills would be perfect. Are there any mature age recruits worth picking up in this mould?

Snoop Dog you were trying to find out more about Redman a few weeks back. Any insight on he and the others?

Knightmare could you possible share some insights?

Yeah I quite like Mason Redman. Went back and looked at some more vision and he would be one I think would go late 2nd round and into the 3rd round. Got some speed and agility which his type need but also seems to quite good with his leading patterns which I am big on with young forwards. Also good mark so should be able to compete well 1:1.

We need a project key position player (ideally backline) at 6'4 or better with a frame that can carry 100kg and can move laterally. If Kieran Collins slipped through to pick 27 looks ideal.
Keeffe was our man for a time and Frost will hardly keep opposition coaches and forwards awake at night.
We're have mid 6' size options stacked deep.

'Good Old Collingwood Forever'

Actually a few key defenders who I think will go a bit later with those characteristics. Think Firns and Watson would be a couple that come to mind albeit I think we are well served in that area. Watch out for Hartley, Keough and Adams as the mature age options as well.

~The Scout~ says we are looking at a kid called Mountford, nothing set in stone, but we are looking

Be surprised if he went as early as 27 but had a good combine and is very hard at it. High possess getter and attacks the ball carrier with real vigour. Had some really good moments at the champs and on my list in the 40-60 range. Not many good players out of WA this year but he is one of the better ones. Thing that helps his case is his combine results and his WAFL reserves form.

Good name too. Redman. Hope his cousins methodman turns out good too. :D

Will unfortunately be pushed a few selections later talent wise by academy selections, so hopefully something still there. Rioli around the mark but not surprised if he goes a bit earlier so not getting hopes up.
Bruce Macavany already has him in an arranged marriage......
