How likely is he to have further injury complications The Royal Sampler?
He’d be amongst the most likely in the draft. Too hard to put a number on it because there are many factors at play; but he will now be hamstring deficient on one side, potentially cartilage damage, and have an ACL on his good side which is genetically predisposed to tearing.

I reckon Bonar plays a lot more like a centre half forward than Fogarty does. Leads and marks, finding the ball at ground level, snaps at goal, finds the ball using pace to find space running back at goal. He has a variety of goal scoring avenues. I reckon he's the perfect modern day centre half forward. Are we in a position to take a gamble? Because I reckon he's just about the best potential in the whole draft. I agree with you regarding his potential. Going by the highlights videos, noting his limited preparation, he shows the most talent that could be anything. I would be happy if they took the risk because he really could end up a superstar with all those weapons he has.

I would opt for a bloke who's obviously played well enough in the h&a season.. but has excelled in finals. If they haven't.. wouldn't even look at em.

Which of the top 10 draft prospects had ripping finals games?

I have no idea.. Haven't watched any of em play bar 2 minute clips.

With Injuries there is a Potential Bust Factor there and I doubt Hine take that big of a Punt at 6

I don't mind IF Our 1st Pick was Leaked we have plenty of Picks later in the Draft for the Suprise

I think the point is we've been a sieve in past years and now the hole (pert) has been plugged. That is a great thing for out club!

A message for Hine:

In all honestly the lyrics are perfect

We feel nothing so jump into the fog
In the hope that we hit the ground upright
We feel nothing so jump into the fog
I just hope it's your bones that shatter not mine

You don't need to be an expert to have an opinion from what you see, after all that is why this forum exists for mugs to talk footy with other mugs.

There is nothing to lose or gain should you add something to the conversation of who like the look of, like all of us who do comment.
Well there's time.

What Hine effectively is doing in American Football terms is a Hail Mary = a long, typically unsuccessful pass made in an attempt to score late in the game.
I hope it works out I really do.

You still didn't answer my question...........Does Brisbane still take Brayshaw at number one?

I'd assume no.

In terms of the Hail Mary, it's pretty clear from Hine's drafting history that he is a big fan of this kind of play, but I expect he'd would prefer you to call it a risk versus reward investment, before throwing in some corporate speak about processes, structures and pathways. Having said that, I'm a fan - perhaps because I too have a gambler's heart. - I'll be happy with whoever we take, but Bonar's the one I most want at Pick 6.

Not blistering pace but he's got footy smarts but by the looks of the clips, he's got good breakaway pace.

Ok.. now I'm in.. ****ing get him.

Deadly kick for goal.. sticky hands = on a bad day a couple of grabs and a couple of goals.. on a good day.. could be a destroyation.

Would not Rule it out but I heard we have put a Line Threw his Name
With the lack of mail coming out of the club, everyone is guessing. I wouldn't take too much notice of anything I heard at this stage. I'm still personally hoping we take him (assuming the heart thing is not serious) I think he has match-winner written all over him.

1. Bris - Rayner
2. Freo - LDU
3. Carl - Cerra
4. NM - Brayshaw
5. Freo - Dow

That is how I see the top 5 falling.

This leaves us with the following that id be happy with us to take.

Naughton, Fogarty, Coffield, Bonar, Murphy and Richards.

I reckon Ed would love us to take Richards.

Our forward line mix is still our most pressing concern.
We need to find ways to score more goals.

We are still crying out for support for Moore.
And there's even talk he may spend time at CHB.

Question marks over the durability of Reid and he's a swing man.

Cox is still miles away.

Elliott's fitness always has a question mark over it in recent times and we can see he again is requiring surgery.

Fas is most durable at the moment but is really the only other real dangerous attacking weapon we have.

We can't afford to play guys like Greenwood and Blair in forward half roles when they cannot hit the scoreboard.

We need more quality forward 50 options.

This is why Fogarty is the most required player- provided he is still available over Naughton.

We do need to address KPD at some point too but defending goals isn't our most pressing concern.

Fogarty generally plays deep when used as forward.
