Fogarty has the potential to become a big mid like Curnow is at Carltank. He ran a 7:30 2kmTT with no fitness base all the makings are there just need to be molded.

I agree.. but they don't have time to waste these idiots.. they're looking for someone to step in from the get go. Otherwise they might have nabbed Fogarty.. they won't do it.

They're not gonna sit there and nurture a kid who avgs 12 disposals and a bad knee.. they want immediate impact. Their midfield is completely f.. they don't have 3 yrs to get him up and running as a mid.

They're simply after a mid who can be their best.. right away.. or up there.. even as a young kid. Cerra is the perfect fit for North.

Haha yeah I couldn't agree more mate.....they obviously chased Dusty and Kelly hard so with pick 4 they'll want a ready to go mid and either Cerra or Brayshaw will fit that but I reckon they'll go Cerra and they also have pick 23 so they can target a similar type player as Fogarty with that pick......the stars are aligning for us to grab TheFog.

Is there any reason why nobody is mentioning Hunter Clark, he seems to be rated around about where our pick is.

Just did some good research and the i have rounded it down to 4 players i would like and they are Fogarty, Cerra, Naughton and Coffield.

Obviously we can't take all 4 at 6 unfortunately so in order of my preference i have gone.

1- Cerra
2- Fogarty
3- Coffield
4- Naughton

The only reason Naughton is at 4 is because i think at pick 38 there will be a decent enough KPD (Balta/Petty/Clavarino)

If a club decides to bid on Brown before 38 (unlikely) i unfortunately would pass on Brown, would happily take him at 56 or 61 though.

I think this is worth keeping in mind. The draft orders we see are based on draft watchers in the media, not on clubs internal IP.

Therefore when we say someone has bolted up the draft order, we really don't know if that's the case at all. All we know is that the media draft watchers have changed their minds, most likely by watching other media opinion rather than by getting access to club IP.

So it's quite possible that some clubs' draft lists already have Ed Richards at 8, others at 20 etc. No one is probably bolting, although there may be fine-tuning based on late info regarding unknown medical conditions (or do clubs already know but media learn and then change their opinion on player) or nocturnal behaviour.

My suspicion is clubs probably have draft lists pretty closely screwed down with possibly small shuffles based on late information and interviews.

I reckon it's all pretty fixed in the bunkers and that the atmospherics in the stratosphere don't bear a strong relationship to what's going on below.

The last thing I want on draft night is to be surrounded by strapping young men scoffing at my middle aged pouch, their toned torsos threatening to break through their slim line shirts.
