I've been thinking this exact same thing. Would be nice if a worthy KPP was available at 6 and we just took that option, but I'm not sure there is. From my limited knowledge anyway. I think I'd rather just take the best available and hope they turn out decent. In that scenario I don't think we can be criticised too much.

It’s only my two cents, but I think Naughton is worth it. I’ve been pondering it lately and I feel that kicking isn’t a determining issue at jnr level.

This Naughton bloke looks like he gets in the way of everything from what I've seen in the clips.. looks the goods.

His kicking looks really bad though. I'm sure it will improve over time.. dunno haven't followed him at all.. perhaps he's just got an awkward looking style.. and that's about it.. disposal efficiency.. if anyone has the stats.. wouldn't mind having a geez at em.

That's what I'm afraid of. I've been talking up Naughton to my family and friends cause that's the direction I thought that we were headed if Cerra/Brayshaw didn't dro and I wanted to look like a guru. Now I'm not so sure.

I’m tired and grumpy at the moment and every 5th post seems to be Dave going on about us taking Richards. If I wanted to be harsh I would have gone way harder than that.

Understand that, but he’s getting too caught up in the romance with Richards and it’s clouding his judgement of what commentators are actually saying, which is that Richards is very unlikely at 6.

Interesting that nowhere has mentioned Freo choosing a tall at 5. They are even more desperate than us for talls. Naughton is a reach at 5 but still a local boy and is a key defender.

Our best hope is Freo taking Naughton at 5 and North taking Stephenson at 4
