Why isn't "Trade to Freo for Warnock" an option?;)

Because Freo would trade for a packet of Tim Tams considering their Trade blunders.

anyone with the last name as Hartlett will be an overated injury prone forward lol. dont get hartlett. u only need 1 in your side and its enough.

Preferences of someone who admits he doesn't have a clue:

1. Micheal Hurley
2. Hamish Hartlett
3. Steele Sidebottom
4. Jack Ziebell

My reasoning is that Hurley, other than possibly Watts, is the class key position player of this draft. He can play forward or back, and while he'll never be a full back or a Fevola style full forward he'll be a much better option than Hartlett or Edwards down the track as a second or third forward option.

My second choice is Hamish Hartlett who is just a gun midfielder. You can never have enough gun mids and would be an automatic selection in round 1.

My third selection was a choice between Ziebell and Sidebottom. I went with Sidebottom mainly because he's more of a ballwinner than Ziebell and the safer selection.

Why isn't "Trade to Freo for Warnock" an option?;)

We're not all bloody devoid of humour around here my friend. ;):D

If Hurley falls i think he'd be irresistable to us but i'd be thrilled if we landed Ziebell too. If both are gone the Hartlett and Sidebottom come into the equation don't they.

I'm going to say Sidebottom because he kicked lots of goals in the TAC Grand Final and it was the only match i watched all year so he must be the best player for us to get. Goals win matches right?

That is until people keep reminding me that Ziebell is the best choice, then i'm going to change my mind.

But then if Hurley is around surely i think Carlton should select him because he is kinda tall!

I'd be stoked for either hurley, ziebell, steele, hartlett
I really can't see us losing with 6 Obviously the only problem is that we may be overhyping them up and they turn out not the way we would of liked. But i would love to think that's not going to be the case.

Tough. Hurley would just about finish our KPP stocks, and maybe release Austin/Waite to the forward line.

Ziebell - what's better than one Gibbs...........two.

Hartlett - I like the sound of him, and who knows.....miht just inspire his brother to extract the digit get the hammies right and we get two for one.

Hard Arse - has bolted up the rankings.........can't wait for DC.

If we get hurley we would have 3 kp players capable of playing either end. Rotating them through foward and back.

Ziebell is like 3 players in one and in years to come i can see him being that guy who does what is needed when it has to be done.

ziebell
hartlett
sidebottom
hurley

after watching yesterday it's all about midfielders.
cannot go wrong with any of the above.

i choose ziebell because-
he can also go forward and play key position (what we need) and go well, he is tough (something that i think we lack atm), his body will allow him to have an immediate impact in his first years (including 2010 and 2011 which is when we will be up there), he is a 'in and under' midfielder (something we are lacking and subsequently will take pressure off judd for contested possessions) and like the others three i know he has superb disposal (pivotal in good teams).

cannot go wrong with pick 6.
