Ahem... take two.

Perhaps synonymous of the Crows season so far, the previous Pick Our Team thread was a failure, completely underdone, riddled with errors and without substance.

So here we go again.

Thought it would be interesting for people to pick our team for this week. This is the team you would pick if you were in charge, not what you think they'll do. You need to pick NINE players in the poll to add to the 22.

For the sake of the exercise we're assuming that van Berlo and Smith are both fit.

I've left the definites, the definitely nots and the injured out of the poll. Also no rookies.

Persist with Porps. Chuck him forward permanently. He can easily pinch us 2 or 3 a week if he stays in attack full time.

For me, in Smith, Kerridge and Lyons, for Jaensch, Vince, Johncock.

Time to test some young blokes out. Put it on them to provide the spark.

I said for the sake of the thread we're assuming that VB and Smith are right to go. So pick with that in mind.

If they end up pulling out on Sunday morning it doesn't change anything.

I've gone for Crouch, Johnston, Wright, Mackay, Brown, Otten, Petrenko, Lyons and Grigg.

unluckies are probably Kerridge and Jeansch.

Jeansch because he survived afer having much poorer games than he had this week where he performed very well defensively.

Kerridge because he's been playing good footy, i'd just pick Lyons ahead of him as he's been puting up the same numbers for a season longer.

Grigg lucky, i just want to see us do something a little inspiring.

What do Andy O and Matty Wright need to do to be considered definites?

Kerridge, Lyons and LJ the new faces for mine.

Tambling: When do you bring him in? Now seems like a good time, didn't have a bad preseason I think
Crouch: No brainer, more game time will only make him improve. Not a passenger.
Wright: He is good at finding space and works harder than others
Mackay: Gives us some run and we need him to help out the spuds is defense
Brown: His game vs Brisbane was very good
Johncock: He either has a huge impact on the game or is a complete liability. Still think he can be a good option up forward, seems like kicking 7 in the 2s did nothing for him.
Otten: Had an okay start to the season. Just "okay" seems to be the benchmark for the bottom half of our team at this stage.
Kerridge: Deserves a chance, not sure on how his pre season went.
Porps: I voted Lyons because the ad was in the way, still think we need Porps.
