It hurts me to say this but Collingwood done very well in the trade period. Getting rid of a crappy forward and ending with two picks in the top ten in the "super - draft". Your most likley going to get a gun (or two).

My guess.

1. Carlton: Bryce Gibbs: Obvious
2. Essendon: Matt Leunberger - They may need to replace Fletcher with Hansen, but Sheedy likes to take rare talents. Even with a ruck squad composed of Berger, Hille, Ryder, Laycock they can send some forward or trade for a needed key back.
3. Kangaroos: Scott Gumbleton: best availble and a key forward.
4. Brisbane: Lachlan Hansen - Again best availble and Brisbane need to build up their kpp, what better way to do so than recruting a Leppitch/Michael replacement.

These 4 are pretty much 90% to be the top 4, not in that order though. The bottom 6 are not as clear cut.

5. Port Adelaide: Thorp - Port Adelaide is the wild card. Could get Sellar (even though many people have denied this on the draft board), Thorp or Selwood. I'm guessing and sort of hoping Thorp.

6. Hawthorn: Sellar - Hawthorn will take the best availble. It will depend on who they think is the best availble in Sellar, Thorp (if there) or Selwood. Sellar and Selwood both have some slight queries but have huge amounts of talent and will be pretty evenly rated. The "tiebreaker" if you will, will be what player best suits Hawthorn, and I don't think they really need another inside mid, so a KPP/part time ruck will be ideal and will give them a solid young spine to go with their solid young midfield.

7. Geelong - Jetta - I've just got the feeling that Geelong will take Jetta due to the fact he is a once in 5-10 years proposition as far as pace and evasion goes.

8. Collingwood - Selwood - We need mids, Selwood good mid. Pick good us well.

9. St.Kilda Boak - Not sure about Boak. But other people are saying it so I'll copy them.

10. Collingwood: Proud - I really like the sound of Proud although his rating has slipped among BFers. Another player being muted is N.Brown who I wouldn't mind.

While I think its good to have two top ten picks, I have to pick you up on your theory that we've "done well" at trading.

One pick was already ours from finishing 6th on the ladder, the other was a fair value - no more, no less - trade for a gun forward. Tarrant aint crappy - Richmond would kill for a player of his quality.

Tarrant was,is and will remain a solid and every so often spectacular, gun forward your kidding, averages 1.24 goals a game.
