Ok I am interested in your selections for our forward 6. The criteria is simeple you are only allowed to have at most 2 resting midfielder.

Here is mine:

F: Scott Welsh Wayne Carey Ronnie Burns
HF: Andrew McLeod Mark Stevens Brett Burton

Scary for any opposition to match up on.:D

Same as yours, but I would change Burton for Ricciuto and have Burton running the wing-I think he's wasted that close to goal and then he has more room to do his famous circles before disposing of the ball. The other options for half forward would be Ladhams or Crowell. I think Carey is definitely best suited for FF rather than CHF, but I think he will definitely change to CHF if the game is starting to slip or to exploit a height deficiency in opposition defence.

Hard to argue with your selections there Stiffy. Burton and Welsh are interchangeable as well if needs be. I would rotate Mcleod, Goodwin and Riciutto through the other flank as well.

If Burton doesn't qualify as a "midfielder", then:

F: Scott Welsh Wayne Carey Andrew McLeod
HF: Mark Riccuito Mark Stevens Brett Burton

If Burton does qualify as a "midfielder", then:

F: Scott Welsh Wayne Carey Ronnie Burns
HF: Mark Riccuito Mark Stevens Andrew McLeod

Which ever way they go there will be some bloody good players missing out on a game when the compotition starts getting serious,
let's hope we have a good run with injuries & we will put a lot fear in all AFL sides in 2003,

Yep, I'll go with this line up too. As well as rotating Roo and Goody in McLeod's position, I'd give Ladhams and Edwards a go there too if we needed to. Same goes with Doughty, Hentschel (when he gets a run) and Rutten (also when he gets a run) if we had a really really bad run with injuries.
