Plan B tried.

Smaller players running into an open forward line.

Taller players moved up the ground to create the space.
This was very evident against Collingwood.

This would have been better executed with Wojo and Byrnes in the side.

Do we stick to the 3 talls or use this in the finals?
Time to fine tune now at the selection table. If we try this we can go in with a dedicated second ruckman like West and play one less key position tall.

Honestly, i don't think that was the plan. Pods and Mooney were forced up the ground mainly cause our halfbacks failed to link up with our midfield. So often we looked flat footed and stuck trying to find a target to link up with from halfback.

Definitely agree with wojo in the side, his pace of halfback would have helped break collingwood's press and helped link our backs with our mids to our fwd's. I'm not so sure hawkins will be able to pull up, looked like he aggravated that hot spot, so for me west/blake in for hawkins.

The pace with the run and carry was sorely missed last night. Can't wait until Wojo returns.

Think that was Plan A last night. Seems to be Plan A every time we play at the 'G.

I would love it to be Plan A, with Plan B playing a quick, efficient, long-and-direct game to Mooney and Podsiadly deep, with Chapman (playing mainly forward), Stokes and co. at their feet.

Ideally we play Pods and Mooney as the key targets deep, and actually go long to them, and then get the runners at their feet where they need to be. Last night however we couldn't get it through the middle enough so the key forwards had to come up to get it, and then didn't have much to kick to inside 50 (hence why they hesitated about playing on after marks). I'd also like to see Chappy play inside 50 more, he offers so much deep and that's where we need him IMO.

I certainly think we need Wojo back, as much as anything to cover for the fact that some of our other mids are really slowing up (Ling, Corey etc) so we can still get the ball in long and deep and quick. The more we can have Wojo and Varcoe as those outside runners the better IMO.

I thought Plan B was when the players threw their arms up and were like "stuff it, can't be bothered anymore" then Bomber prepares to be smug and tell the media the game didn't matter, as if we're all cool with losing.

teh sky is falling!!!!11!!1eleventyone!!!!1!

People are turning on the team ridiculously quickly nowadays.
