Im tipping M Johnson could become a target or at least trade bait. Some teams would be looking for some added grunt to strengthen their young lists.

I will be very disapointed if we get Kelly, no matter what we swap for him.
He is not quick and his disposal is suspect, to say the least, under pressure.
He has played some good football in a team that is playing pretty well, but hes not the answer to our problems, especially in a team that still MAY have 1 average year to come.

i don't actually want either of those two guys to leave, i just think that an attempt will be made by other clubs. and it is intriguing that smokey in particular has not yet been re-signed. perhaps the club will offer him around. there have been quite a few stories around about mcphee over the last year or two. i agree with those who mentioned MJ, too. if sheedy is determined to get involved in the aker dealings, someone like MJ or solly could easily get a mention.

i don't like it, but it could be reality.

watch for geelong to make a play on lucas - possibly offering james kelly.

also, harves is nosing around mcphee to see if he can be lured back west again.

lucas for kelly and who...tell geelong they are dreaming. You don't go giving up 50+ goal CHF for slighly above average midfielders. They've never been able to get Lucas before when he's come off contract...and they've given it a damn good try each and everytime.

Also McPhee is a Vic, has just started a business with his girlfriend....why would he be wanting to go back to Freo.

Slight below average midfielder really. Would take him but it would have to be Kelly and Geelongs first pick for lucas.
