Why do I need to wait until I have a game before I can download the patch for said game? Like I am 100% getting the Witcher tomorrow, there is (of course) a day one patch. Why can't I download that now and have it ready to install tomorrow? Instead I have to wait for the install, and then download the patch.

I agree.

It's not much but you can download the patch whilst the game is installing I think. As it copies to your hard drive click options and then 'check for update'

Great call. In this day and age that sort of thing should be standard.

I agree. It's not that bad with this game because the patch is small. I bloody hate 10gb patches though, that is the worst.

Does anyone have one of the Sony Experia phones with PS4 remote play? If so, how do you find it?

I got the Experia Z3 compact on Monday. Had no problem connecting from bed this morning (didn't connect a controller though).

Thought it might be okay to do a few Destiny bounties and some basic stuff.

I've got a remote play app - is that what you're talking about?

Got the Z3C too, and anything other than basic patrol I wouldn't bother mate.

Does anyone know if digital purchases and downloads to your console are locked to a PSN?

I've got the digital version of Driveclub and I'm wondering if I can still play it off my PS4 if I log in on a different account to the one I purchased it with? I'm guessing purchases are only available to the account that bought them?

Will work on the console. Thats how people buy US games, they buy it with their US account but play it on their normal account.

Awesome! Thanks for that good news Quivorir - might need to consider getting a US account then.

What do people do about the address bit - from memory, you need to put a valid address down don't you?

Yeah I think I am like some pet store in utah or something. Pick a US state that doesn't have a tax. Then you just purchase US PSN cards off Amazon.

Until Dawn will be released Aug 26.

3 retail editions. Standard, Extended which includes a bonus DLC chapter, and Steelbook also includes the DLC.

I didnt actually expect this to be a full price game.

Haha. According to PSN I live in a hockey arena

Awesome, thanks for the tip.

There's no issue with region coding right? i.e any purchases off the US PS store would still be playable for an AU PSN account?

Looks awesome. Comes out the day after my birthday too - Tekken 7 and hopefully this will be added to my collection come August. :D

Correct, but make sure if you are buying DLC for a game you buy it from the same region. IE: US DLC will not work with the Aussie version of the game and vice versa.

Also with banks like ANZ using the AM-EX you get bonus points for every $ you spend.

The new models, numbered CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B, are variations of the same model, with the difference essentially being the hard drive size. While the CUH-1215A variant has a 500GB HDD, the CUH-1215B version has a 1TB hard drive.

It doesn't appear that either of the new models will mark a full redesign of the console, like we saw with the PS3 Slim and PS3 Super Slim, but rather this is about the internal components changing. To that end, one of the most notable changes comes to the power source - where it was 250 watts, it's now 230 watts. Similarly, amperage has also changed from 2.5-1.15 amps to 2.3-0.95 amps.

The last change is a reduction in weight from 2.8 kg to 2.5 kg, though the external dimensions of the box remain the same. What led to this reduction is unclear though, with E3 just around the corner, it's likely we won't have long to wait for any big announcements.
