Yeah I’ll make a decision today about it, can always bank the money and build a new PC and get the other VR.

Will read up on them all today

EDIT:

If I get VR it appears that PSVR is the easiest to set up and use...very tempted at the price it is atm

I was 50/50 on picking up Skyrim VR given I have it already on both PS3 and PS4; but I had some credit card points to burn so I redeemed them for JB vouchers and took the plunge on it. Decided to be a lizard woman this time around just for something different, as I always feel compelled to be a Nord.

VR is heaps better than non-VR, despite the resolution difference, which isn't a problem at all for close-range and mid-range objects and settings. It still looks great and it's way more immersive. Haven't had any problems with bugs or anything so far.

My only problem with Skyrim now, having lived and breathed Game of Thrones during the past 5 or so years, is how much has been borrowed from Martin's world. It's a light tarnish for mine.

Bravo Team looks pretty cool.
Yup. If they can pull it off it could be a console (is the PSVR a console?) seller

It's a fairly significant visual downgrade on the Rift, which is a less significant downgrade on the Vive.

Visuals aside though, the quality of the tracking and lack of roomscale is what leaves it in the dust of the other two.

I must buy an oculus or vive one day. I don't think I have had an issue with the PSVR tracking so wondering if maybe I am just not noticing it and am not sure what I am missing out on.

Finally tried out a mates PSVR, experienced a fair amount of judder. Certainly seems harder to get right/more susceptible to environmental issues compared to the kther two, at the very least.

Have also never experienced tracking problems or judder.
Yep, same. I really don't know what improved versions of tracking would look like as I've never really had any problems bar being too close to the camera that I end up out of the zone. Also not quite having enough room in my surroundings at times to reach out wide enough to interact with items in game. But I can generally get around that with helpful in-game movement.

In terms of the question asked from Big Sauce 21 I don't think the quality of anything about the PSVR is poor. The only issue comes from games lowering graphics due to the system requirements, which generally (unless something like the absolutely terrible looking DriveClub) you'll not notice after a few minutes of playing.

Speaking of VR, Last Guardian Demo is now available and so is the Stranger Things VR Experience. Not sure if the Last Guardian one is going to be a full version later on or not, but super keen on getting into both of these.

Has anyone played the Justice League experience? Worth it?

Sounds like if you're experiencing tracking problems or judder there's either a problem with the unit or it's not set up properly. The biggest problem I've experienced so far is eagle flight randomly crashing a few times but I suspect that's a problem with the game rather than the vr unit as it hasn't happened in any other game.

With the great intermittent sales of these (my boss just recently picked one up for his son for Christmas for about $350 I think he said?) and the new version coming out with HDR pass through I’m having a real hard time trying to unload mine. It looks like it’s starting to sell a few units so hopefully some more developers take an interest in it and if I end up keeping it there might be some more games that don’t give me motion sickness.

I have never experienced any other VR and had no issues with the technology. Maybe it’s different when comparing them all side by side but I never had any tracking or any other such issues as far as I could tell. My only issue was breaking into a sweat and wanting to vomit after about 30 minutes :p. Graphics are average though given the limited hardware, in my experience definitely below PS4 standard. This is where an Oculus will shine on a decent PC.

Perhaps, certainly seems to affect a few though. GB's videos on PSVR a good online source of the sort of judder I'm speaking about.

I'm not sure I'm prepared to waste 3 gig on that Stranger Things 'experience'.:D In fact I think most of the 'experiences' sound quite rubbish. I qualify that by saying I never tried the Batman one which everyone seemed to rave about but I still just don't really get it. Is it possible it was just because it was one of the first things out on the vr?
