Played another couple of hours of Horizon tonight, the combat is sooooo good. I really hope they come back with something where combat is the focus.

I was thinking last night, what would my dream PSVR2 game be?

My first thought was Persona VR, would be pretty cool doing the castles and fighting in VR.

Other than that Ghost of Tsushimi would be a cool. Sword combat with standoffs, stance changes and then archery would work well.

I'm having fun in pavlov. Playing with full locomotion and outside of feeling a little off balance whilst going up stairs and turning corners whilst running I'm get zero motion sickness. If this is what vr shooters are going to be about sign me up.

Havent tried it yet. Can't wait to f up every reload 🤣

Man, I'm addicted to the NFL game, I'm crap, but wow you feel like you are really on the team and in the stadiums. Hit my ceiling fan twice already...

AFL VR 2053?

Would need full body tracking and omni-directional treadmills to get that working. The tech behind both of those things is available at the moment, but in its very early awkward phase. Probably something you'd see 10-15 years down the line, assuming the demand for VR grows.

One sport that translates pretty well in VR is Cricket. I wonder if BigAnt are looking into VR Modes in future titles (there are a couple of good Cricket games on the Oculus Store, but these are mobile level graphics and probably wouldn't pass the quality test for PSVR2 porting)

There is a drums rock demo avaliable now.

Got the NFL game, I'm not a QBs arseh*le.
I find short passes to the middle the easiest to complete. Took me a while to figure out the timing for passing too. You have to pass as soon as the receiver cuts an angle.

I think I'm playing VR too much. Not kidding, the past two mornings I've taken 2 steps out of bed, stopped, and tried to move forward with the left stick. 😬

Any more thoughts on Call of the Mountain?

I’m a bit over the climbing but everything in between is awesome. The puzzle solving is something that seems to have gone under the radar.

I've only played enough to unlock the safari boat ride but it's nice so far. The climbing is a bit tedious but it's not a deal breaker

I’m getting tired from standing before I feel like I’ve had enough of the headset which is a good sign haha! I’ll definitely be picking up some headphones soon, the earbuds aren’t doing it for me.

Played more Call of the Mountain tonight and went through some stealth sections which were awesome!

I feel like I’m playing a different game to some of these reviewers, I wonder if opinion will change as people have more time to play it.

I ended up sitting for Horizon now because my body is killing me haha. It actually works perfectly fine so long as you have the movement speed/rotation settings cranked up, and of course always check the ground level in every game. Makes a huge difference in tracking.

Anyone that hasn't done it I reccomend doing the safari ride. Its different from the opening boat ride. I think you can access it from the main menu otherwise if you pick up the ship on the table in the main hub you can access it there. Also pops a trophy for those that trophy hunt.

Don't your arms get tired though or is it different to how I'm imagining it?

They did the first time haha!

Because your reach is so long you can kind of cheese most of climbing sections. The frustration comes from it losing your hands, particularly when using the picks.

As you go further into the game they add layers to the climbing which makes it more interesting.

Yeah this is great, I’m using as a demo mode for people when they come to check out the VR. The training hub opens up eventually so people can try climbing and shooting.
