Yeah this is folklore in the industry for monumental cockups.Google's founders were looking for buyers back in 1999... web company Excite were interested, but baulked at the USD$1m asking price.
Page and Brin then offered the company for $750k, but Excite again declined, believing it was over the odds.
15 years later: Google Inc is worth $364 billion.

Mike Pyke is on the Canadian team on Rugby '06 for Xbox and Ps2.
Gaming has never much been my thing, last console I owned was Super Nintendo, which I stil have somewhere. I liked treefingers Mike Pyke thing though, only man with a try against the ABs in a Test and a premiership medal.Gough will crack a fat over that.
The chick who modelled the first bikini was still alive a couple of years ago. remember reading it in some article. never bothered to check that fact, and no idea if she's still alive. The bikini was named after the Bikini Atoll.

Wakelin's identical twin Darryl Wakelin played alongside him at St Kilda. Wakelin was born on 12 August 1974. Darryl was born on 11 August as he was born a number of minutes before midnight and Shane was a born a number of minutes after midnight...
Nah mate, just gotta hit the ball. Not that hard.Do you need the rules explained?![]()

The suburb of Glenelg has the rare distinction of being spelt the same forwards and backwards.
The theme song to Cops (Bad Boys) was done by Inner Circle and NOT Bob Marley.

Twins born 87 days apartHere's a footy one. The Wakelin twins (Darryl and Shane) don't share the same birthday.
