There are good and bad in every single walk of life no doubt, and there's definitely corrupt cops (and politicians, businessmen, bookies etc.

However, I stick by my view, don't break the law and they wont bother you.

disclaimer: i went to the police station once when I was 18 after my car was stolen from the city - didn't quite have the same opinion back then and I thought that was what you were supposed to do

me and my mate were stuck in the city all night as bus/train had finished (adelaide) - the cops called me the next day to inform me that they found the car ablaze in wingfield
