Credibility on a football forum? LOL, nice one!
As I said, if you wanted to research actual Australian government statistics, its very easy to do so. A simple google search will get you to those websites :$
I don't need to Google anything. I'm relying on facts, and because I'm not the one making outrageous inaccurate assumptions.

This is just for 5 minutes of searches related to Victoria. Would you like me to keep going?
So, you've "found" a few unsubstantiated, media driven, anti police stories.
You are relying on that?
LOL.

I can give you 1000's of instances where Police have saved lives, performed unbelievable community work, protected kids and families at risk, got dangerous criminals off our streets and given the community what it requires and expects.

They get paid rubbish wages for what they do.

They get abused, sworn and spat on by gutless idiots. They get total disrespect at times, usually by people who have broken the law, but always want to blame someone else.
"It wasn't me, the cops are picking on me, blah blah F$%^# blah.......

There's a few bad ones, no doubt, but there are also bad tradies, bad politicians, bad bus drivers, bad sportspeople etc. etc.

You guys cannot deny that as soon as you become a victim, that the first thing you'll do is call 000.....
And I am right.......

You rely on the internet again....
Rubbish stats from a rubbish source. The odd person would be innocent, and the odd one may have been charged incorrectly, that's it. Some get off on technicalities...
Those stats are from the NSW government, the people that fund the NSW Police Force.

I sincerely hope you are trolling :rainbow:

What have those trigger happy scallywags of the Vic police been up to overnight?

Police shoot two people at Melbourne nightclub

JULY 8, 20179:17AM

TWO people, including a man wielding a gun, have been shot by police at Inflation nightclub in Melbourne this morning.

Police received multiple reports a man was armed with a gun in an upstairs room shortly before 3am.

Reports the weapon was a toy gun are being investigated by police..........

...........The nightclub was having a monthly dress up party.

Bar staff emerged from the venue at 7.15am and said: “Two innocent people were shot, he had a toy gun which he declared to security.”

“The male with a toy gun was dressed as a Joker,” the bar staff told the Herald Sun.

A Facebook user who claims they work at the venue and were there last night posted regarding the incident.

“The event was a fancy dress party and the person who was shot, declared that the gun he had on his person was fake and part of his costume,” she posted.

“It was made from plastic.

“This man and an innocent bystander were shot over a plastic gun at an adult fancy dress party.”

Christ. I always find it sobering to read things like this when you consider it's the army who end up dealing with the people who are too thick to be a copper.

So roscreasl98 - do you want to maintain your assertion that if you do nothing wrong the police wont hassle you?

FMD this guy copped a bullet for dressing up like the joker
He pointed a gun at them. Was told on several occasions to drop it which he refused to do. Banks have been held up with fake guns before. Lucky they didn't shoot to kill. What an idiot in these times.

Get out of denial. Also no cops in my family. Just law abiding citizens. You should try it one day.

I abide the law and have no problems / yawn
Well, it appears that the Night Club staff called the cops because this bloke was threatening both his partner and others, and they weren't aware that the gun may have been fake.
Not that drugged up swingers would make for very reliable witnesses......
