Poll - How fast can you type???

No idea. Was 40 + wpm when tested about 6 years ago. I'm not sure whether years of being a public servant has dumbed me down or sharpened my senses. And there's no point looking around to gauge your progress against others.

80+ words a minute I think, thanks to that program the teachers made us use in year 7, 'All Fingers Go'.

Haven't done any speed tests in a couple years, but probably 55-60 wpm if I'm just typing off the top of my head. A bit faster if typing from text. My reasoning being that I don't have to think about what I'm typing about, and all my brainpower can be used to coordinate what the fingers are doing!

I almost touch type. There's 3-4 letters that I probably use the wrong fingers for. don't have to look at the keyboard anymore though.

Dodongo can type appoximately 60WPM with 100% accuracy. Dodongo could be considered a fast typer.

55-60 wpm, faster if I'm pissed or extremely angry (I'm one of those most of the time).

Probably about 80 wpm when typing from thoughts, although to be honest I don't really know.

I touch type. I taught myself that at the beginning of this year thinking it might help get a job. It didn't, but at least now I type properly.

I did 56 with 100% accuracy, which suprised me cause I put 45-55. But I guess that 56 is not too far from 55

I did the test and got 47WPM with 79% accuracy, and that was not touch typing. As you can see typing is not one of my strong points!

About 4-5 words per minute on average, though on a good day I can go up to 9-10 WPM if I use both my index fingers. Everyone on Bigfooty types really fast, or maybe I just type really slow.

I went at 50 wpm at about 97%. This was on my crap laptop keyboard. Would be interesting on my PC one if I can get faster!
