He's a Cat B rookie. A list spot that can only be used if you can find someone that qualifies. For what he is and what he offers, hes doing reasonably well. Better taking a shot on him than filling the squad with another amateur league top up. I expect he should get a 2nd year.

It is actually a positive thing. At least our depth and new recruits will know what to expect at AFL level.

The amount of times the last 5 years we drop the ball and lose all momentum when the maggots pick a Free Kick from the clouds.
Another positive, last week the Giants were gifted a goal I50 for their first goal. They only got on a roll for three and we responded, we even took it hard for rest of the game and overcame.

I recall so many games where we have lost momentum, dropped heads and our mental weakness.
It’s gotten worse to a point we drop our heads and get obliterated. (I don’t excuse this as our embarrassing thrashings. We are one of the hottest and coldest teams in the Comp)

The most concerning has been the last 12 months and how common it is. An example is last two Geelong fixtures where we were in the lead in the 2nd quarter only to drop off and concede 14/16 & 16/18 of the last goals.
Scary part is that the drop off’s are statistically worse or as bad as the 2007 GF shambles.

We have to change the mindset and accept that this is going to be the challenge every week so buckle up, embrace it and use it our benefit like the PAFC of the 80’s & 90’s.

*The Club are wasting their time complaining at both levels, it is never going to change and should focus more on using it as motivation and let the fans complain. Maybe Ken can blame the umpires for his match/win record deteriorating in his last hurrah.
I had no intention to derail Magpies thread, I only tried to give some silver linings and that it can be actually good for us.

Anyway, great win Maggies and promising to finally see some good form in our seconds which will ultimately increase pressure to the Firsts.
